So after 12 years or so of using only Samsung I bought a Google Pixl 6 Pro and I regret it. I wanted to be able to get back into app dev and custom ROM and Samsung just isn’t built for that anymore. I’ve never been so intimidated by a device. Lol. I should have just got another Samsung but they aren’t rootable here in the US anymore due to using snapdragon variant with no way to unlock the bootloader.

The S21 Ultra S22 Ultra configuration doesn’t make much difference. Almost the same, I’m waiting for the S23 Ultra, because the S23 Ultra will have a much better future that has never been used before

Well in these last years don’t expect big differences, all of the latest phones are packed with features and technologies so the s23 ultra won’t be very different.

I hope the change will come a lot, because the change is known to the Samsung company and no one else knows

Absolutely nobody: You can write down ‘hello!’ with your pen and then convert that into text. Maybe use your keyboard for that? Unless you’re an illustrator that wants to be able to draw the minute inspiration starts flowing, I really don’t get what’s the real world use case for having a pen to go with your phone. 🤷‍♂️

    • God of Chaos Khorne

      February 11, 2022 at 7:08 pm

When I quickly need to take a note I can.

      1. Open my phone, unlock, find app, open app, write, save.

      Or

      2. Pull out my pen. Quickly write message. Put the pen back and it will automatically save the message.

I can pin it to my always on screen if I want

If I later want to turn it into text. I can. If I want to quickly select something, a piece of text etc precisely. I can use my much more accurate pen instead of my finger. If i want to quickly select some text and translate it the same. If I want to show my friend something I can take a screen shot and use my pen to encircle, draw or write on the screen shot. If I’m explaining a math issue, I can draw formulas and other stuff and sent it to people. I can even make step my step animations. If I want to edit pictures and or photoshop stuff a super accurate pen works 10000x better them my finger. If I’m I’m artistic person I can draw incredible art using sketchbook etc. You can also smart select parts of your screen as a sort of screenshot, pin it to the screen and then reference it in other apps erc which I do a LOT..

Etc etc etc. The uses are literally endless. I have been using note phones since the note 3 and use my spen almost daily.

Just because “you” don’t get it doesn’t mean it’s not useful. There is a reason why the note was so popular..

And now it even has functions outside of drawing or writing. Like taking pictures without moving your phone or taking group pictures of you and you friends without anyone needing to hold to phone etc etc.

Seriously Samsung?!! many other handphones already got those 108m n night features, n they led us to think that the S-pen will be a normal pen like the one on S21 but its still the small thin with the same small button.. n yes I agree with Delicate Director n many others, S22 just doesnt justify the price , THank u Julian for your walk through.

  44. God of Chaos Khorne

    February 11, 2022 at 6:39 pm

Palm rejection hasn’t ever really been an issue. Idk what this guy is on about. Seems like he never owned a note phone. I’ve used NOTE phones since the NOTE 3 and although it used to have plenty of bugs and issues you could safely rest your palm/hand on the screen while writing. Esp with the spen near the screen it would detect the spen and reject any finger /palm touches.

    Source:
I write, draw and take notes a lot on my note 10. Also have been using notes ever since I first got my note 3

Can the S22 Ultra finally recorded in HDR10+ at 4K 60 fps? The S21 Ultra was not able to.
When you set the video recording mode to 4K 60 fps, the HDR10+ option would be disabled.
Likewise, when you enabled HDR10+ on the S21 series, the video quality would be limited to 4K at 30 fps. Would be disappointing to find out the S22 Ultra can still not do 4K + 60 fps + HDR10+ at the same time.
