I’m contemplating upgrading from my gear S3 Frontier which I’m still using with my fold 4

I think Samsung is going backwards because my galaxy watch 1 gets 5 days of battery life and now the new watches they get a paltry 1 and half days 😂.

Thanks for watching! My full written review linked in the description has much more on sensors and accuracy. Feel free to ask any other questions you have here!

Thanks for review Lexie. Is there an internal storage on this one for mp3s? And if so how much gb?

      Thanks again!

      August 3, 2023 at 11:58 am

@thekylegarcia yes! 16gb storage and you can put your own music/mp3 on them

      @Imad Abselem it’s a Samsung case, a leather one!

Just don’t understand why they didn’t put the same battery from the pro 5 that why I won’t upgrade

Lexy, the fidget spinner lover that love rotating watch bezel.. ❤️ wonder how does it performs compares to the Apple Watch Ultra..

I’m really feeling the galaxy watch classic in the stainless steel but I do t want to break my bank I’ve only had my galaxy watch5 for a year probably no need to upgrade as long as we get all the new 1 ui 5 updates on the galaxy watch

  11. 777B views

I’m buying both and putting one on each wrist

  12. Andre

    August 3, 2023 at 10:47 am

I cannot get an answer from any of the men that have created videos, is the screen size on the 43 mm classic the same size or larger then last year’s 44mm regular? I know what the specs say 1.4 + 1. 3 on the classic but I’m wondering if the 43 mm classic 6 has a larger screen than the 44mm Galaxy watch 5 regular?

    • Colin Talbot

      August 3, 2023 at 1:21 pm

      The 43mm Classic has a smaller screen (1.3) than last year’s 44mm Watch 5 (1.4)

    • Andre

      August 3, 2023 at 1:56 pm

@Colin Talbot so I guess what I’m asking is even with the thinner bezels the screen is still smaller than last year?

  13. Frank R

    August 3, 2023 at 10:52 am

Any word on an updated Watch 6 Pro? 2024 perhaps?

  14. JoystickJester

    August 3, 2023 at 11:13 am

Is it true that the Watch 6 classic has a smaller battery life than the Watch 5 Pro?

    • Lexy Savvides

      August 3, 2023 at 11:15 am

      Yes

    • JoystickJester

      August 3, 2023 at 11:23 am

@Lexy Savvides Thank you Lexy. As much as I want the bezel and no real improvements from the Pro 5. I’m sticking with the Pro 5. The battery life is more important.

    • Lexy Savvides

      August 3, 2023 at 11:35 am

@JoystickJester I’d make the same choice if I were you! Also you will get all the software updates anyway (soon hopefully) 🤞

Thank you so much for telling us right away which size watch you’re wearing AND including your wrist measurement! That’s such helpful context to have and I don’t understand why every other watch reviewer doesn’t do it.

      August 3, 2023 at 2:29 pm

      So true !

    • Max Born

      August 3, 2023 at 3:40 pm

yeah, that wrist size to watch size ratio is something missing from a lot of reviews. Had to second guess it myself before pre-ordering.

I was told that the heart monitor was not supported in U.S. Is this new?

  18. Devon Austin

    August 3, 2023 at 11:48 am

It’s a shame all the internals are the same – they aren’t as accurate as Apple’s (according to Quantified Scientist on Youtube).
I guess I’ll have to continue holding off on getting a smart watch 🙄

  19. Manrique

    August 3, 2023 at 12:12 pm

I think I’m going to upgrade my Gear S3 classic for the 6 Samsung is offering 125 bucks trade in deal, the only thing that I’m for sure going to miss is MST

  20. Ari Bloch

    August 3, 2023 at 12:16 pm

5:40 ive traded every galaxy watch in the next generation because trade in is so generous. Last year I got the watch 5 for $130 including a fast wirekess charger duo and 2 25 watt usb c bricks. The sapphire display was the main motivation for upgrading, as I had a couple deep scratches.

I ordered a watch 6 classic as i missed the bezel since the watch 3, and it was $130 including an extra band, no brainer. And slightly faster SoC

  21. Ron Jeremy

    August 3, 2023 at 12:17 pm

stupid brand. back to physical bezel and poor battery LOL😂

  22. k brooks

    August 3, 2023 at 1:45 pm

Definatley worth the extra to get the bezel back

  23. Rainer Rain

    August 3, 2023 at 2:28 pm

Finally a reviewer states their wrist size and the size of watch they’re wearing ! This helps so much on deciding which size to get for those of us who don’t have access to see the watches in person before buying them, so THANKS ! PS : keep us updated on battery usage as its suppose to get better once it learns your every day usage ,thanks again and enjoy your watch.

  24. Max Born

    August 3, 2023 at 3:42 pm

they downgraded the battery, made the watch heavier for the rotating bezel, and took away the offline GPS tracking feature on watch 5 pro. Can’t really call it an “upgrade”, the chip is the main thing that changed. But not really justifying the price tag.

I really want to upgrade, but there doesn’t seem to be many upgrades between the 4 and 6 classic. I don’t sleep with my watch either so that’s out thebdoor

    August 3, 2023 at 11:13 pm

I just have pre-ordered mine. Will go with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 classic (47mm version). I am upgrading from the Gear S3, so it’s going to be a huge step forward for me. Can’t wait !

Still waiting for the first WearOS/ Google ecosystem compatible smart watch with accurate heart rate tracking and a solid battery life… Been using Huawei Watch GT3 Pro but that needs some tricks to get it talking with Google Fit for example 🤦🏻‍♂️

NOTE: Galaxy Watch 6 Classic LTE – OVERHEATS – same problem as in 4 and 5 – SAMSUNG DID NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM! I’m returning it because it’s another failed Samsung product!

  36. Henrik Byström

    August 4, 2023 at 7:30 am

I will wait until Samsung releases a new Pro model.

I hope Samsung releases a new Pro model soon with upgraded specs and a big battery. If they do that, then i will buy it immediately.

It feels like the Pro series suits people who are very active better.

    • Ryan Tan

same, im waiting for the pro

  37. Techtalker

    August 4, 2023 at 7:40 am

The 1 major thing for me I suppose is that the classic has almost 0 bezel and even the regular one has trimmed the bezels so much! And that looks amazingg!!!

  38. Naz Miah

    August 4, 2023 at 8:33 am

Don’t transfer your old I.e watch 5 Pro data to the watch 6 classic.. as it makes the bezel sluggish and doesn’t work properly

  44. PlatinumGamer

Only a day of battery life? I think I’m just gonna keep my Watch Active 2 that still lasts over 2 days, which is already too short for a watch.

  45. Johnny Nilsson

    August 4, 2023 at 5:10 pm

I don’t have any watch previously. Would this be a good first one? Mainly going to use it for health tracking, but I also want something stylish so probably looking at the small classic

And of course you can always use reverse wireless charging as long as you have a Samsung phone

  48. DJ's Home Tech

    August 4, 2023 at 8:37 pm

You didn’t bring up anything on the change to Bluetooth 5.3. People may not think it’s a huge deal but it does make a difference.
