Samsung needs to first improve the stability, accuracy, and completeness of notifications on their phones. In many apps, notifications do not reach your phone.
For example, on Instagram, I usually receive 250 notifications per day on my iPhone, but on Samsung, this drops to 80 or 70. Even on days when all notifications do come through on the Samsung phone, when I tap on any one of them, all the remaining unread notifications disappear because I entered and exited the app.
For instance, let’s say I receive notifications from the accounts I follow in three categories: photo posts, Reels, and Stories. If the total number of photo notifications is 68, when I tap on any one of them, it takes me to the app. If I exit the app using the back button, the remaining 67 photo notifications disappear.
This needs to be fixed. I want to be able to choose and review the notifications as I have time, without them disappearing after interacting with one.
Secondly, when adding an existing photo from one album to another, there should be an option to “add by reference” instead of copying the file. Normally, when you copy a photo to another album, it creates a duplicate of the same photo, taking up more memory. This consumes the phone’s storage. For example, on iPhone, you can add a single photo to hundreds of albums, but there is only one actual photo, and other albums just reference it, so the phone’s memory doesn’t fill up. You don’t need to create duplicates just to view the same photo in different albums.
Samsung should keep the copy and move options, but also include a reference method to add a photo to an album or folder without duplicating the file.

Do they ever get bored of just copying everyone else? Yeesh

Now is my time to get back at all the Samsung fanboys and Apple haters.
Search for movies by just asking Bixby? TV Daily Board allowing you to see device status and the weather on the TV? These are all things Apple did in 2015 with Apple TV and tvOS 😂

I don’t care about emotional satisfaction, I just want to use DeX on the inner display of my Z Fold.
Also, just include Good Lock features in the OS under Advanced Features. Stop segregating them in a separate app.

Hey, I have some suggestions for ONE UI 7.0 in Android 15 (which I suggested to Samsung through the Memebers app). One thing I want them to focus more on is app features, such as the gallery, for example: it needs a revamp in the sense of adding features like (1) ‘improved search functionality’ by adding a search button in each album. (2) ‘Remember the last location’ while exiting an album instead of scrolling back. (3) ‘Multiple photos selected and renamed at the same time instead of one by one. (4) ‘Customisable column count: which can be added in the Galaxy labs section. These are my suggestions because I’m a photographer and I use my gallery app a lot. So, what do you think?

The worst part is how they’ll delay the one UI update which will probably arrive with bugs and won’t be as smooth as iOS, new year, same old story
@SpeedfrkOne
October 4, 2024 at 6:13 am
I hate that Korean accent – too softer voice and cannot say “simplicity” correctly and it appears Samsung are trying to release “features” which are simply because people are lazy or mentally challenged. If you need a phone / app for groceries you are simply wasting oxygen. There is a big difference between laziness and a need. I love Samsung TV / Microwaves, etc would never ever use their phones as I hate android and Samsung should develop their own OS instead of piggybacking off Google. A phone should always be primarily a phone – not a replacement for common sense and not a one device for everything and convenience at any cost is never a good outcome.

I don’t understand what this has to do with developers? All they’re doing is showing off their poorly made software. Besides, if they want to present these things to an english-speaking audience, would it not be better to get native english speakers? Everyone there just sounds regarded.
