Robots don’t develop, they are developed by humans

@KJDogluv Not strictly true, they need to learn the same way as any AI does

Humanoids have always been useless as “workers” and it’s easy to explain why AGI can’t change that. We see how Amazon is replacing people and it’s not with humanoids. Because robots ALREADY use Vision and AI and they don’t look like humans because humans are limited. (they have to climb ladders, hands too big for small things etc.) Automation has been replacing people for decades and it hasn’t stopped! So if a humanoid could do it, it’s already automated!

when the people who work in the robot factory get replaced by robots, we are done as a species. We had a good run.

I think that is a good feature for most all humanoid bots a light or something that shows when they are acting autonomously or are being teleoporated.

Fantastic video! You did a great job explaining the technology behind each robot. I ended up taking notes. (No kidding.) After Jensen Huang mentioned in his keynote there were 110 robots in attendance, I went on a quest to find all 110 of them. I failed. I think I captured maybe 75?

(Darn you, bright green Serve robots that would not stop moving…)

Other cool robots in attendance were the Unitree Robots. One of their robots was terrifyingly tall. (Why? I still don’t understand why it has to be so tall.)

Workr had a fantastic demo of a robot that… well, actually does work. (Workr was in the NVIDIA booth next to Humanoid.)

Psyonic was there with an incredible bionic hand demo. The same hand that goes on humans (amputees) goes on robots. You use the training data from humans to train the robots, (using Isaac Lab.) It’s brilliant.

Near to the Azure candy station where everyone was getting on a sugar high, Unitree was showing off several robots. Go2. R1. G1. And, the terrifyingly tall H1. (Why is it so tall?!!!!)

On the opposite side of the trolley tracks, OpenMind had a gaggle of robots showing off their open source approach. All of them seemed determined to engage in conversation with those passing. “Hello! I’m Pam!” “Hello! I’m Pam!”

After the show closed, there was a Physical AI party and it was filled to the brim with robots. I caught a UFB (fighting bot) dancing the macarena. Not sure why a robot needs these skills, but admittedly, it was very entertaining.
