I’d shoot myself if I ever wasted money on a controller that costs $10 short of triple the cost of a regular one

They must be handing out free crystal meth in the Sony HQ offices. It’s the only rational explanation for the pricing.

5 regular controller with that price

Same price as Xbox Elite controllers but you get extra stuff and have the option to replace your joysticks. Not sure why all the complaints 🤷‍♂️

I know it’s 200$…. But I’m getting it. It’s a solid controller it looks like.

extremely pricey, but this is clearly meant for elitist pc or console gamers

I’m not gonna lie, I pulled the trigger on the halo elite series 2 when it came out and I think it might be the best controller I’ve ever used. The difference really surprised me. I’m not gonna get this one because I already have that one, and I use it for some pc games, but I don’t blame anyone for wanting to try this one.

The only thing I wish is had was 4 paddle buttons on the back. I know it doesn’t have the room, but it’s a really nice feature to have once you get used to it, trust me.

@TIZZiDoDis pro controllers like scuff and 3rd party are about 230-300 dollars with adding bare minimum customizations this price is a blessing

Stuff like this makes me want to get rich so I can buy disposable items without feeling stupid. Buying with a regular 9 to 5 feels like I’m slapping myself…will wait to buy refurbished for half the price

  22. ColtsFan4Life 35

    October 19, 2022 at 10:06 pm

Sony must be crazy selling it for that price.

  23. Rob

    October 19, 2022 at 10:31 pm

Maybe I should order the controller so that in a year when I can find a ps5 I’ll have something to use it with.

Ps5s are available if U really want them

  26. LingMajor

I just want a back button attachment like the DS4 had

  27. Remy Melanie

    October 20, 2022 at 5:59 am

Sony has the killer feature with the replaceable analog modules. That only makes the price worthwhile for serious gamers

  28. maybe

    October 20, 2022 at 7:07 am

D pad individual buttons will be a good one.. But they didn’t care for that

  29. Michael Boys

    October 20, 2022 at 10:10 am

I would love one if you could customise the back buttons to use the screen magnifier. As a visually impaired gamer, I use it a lot but it can be awkward to use. It would be great if you could do it with one simple button press. I have reached out to Sony about this on twitter but I doubt I’ll get a response. If you could use accessibility options with this thing, I’d buy one in a heartbeat.

Pass … I don’t see the value at this pricing given the wear and tear that goes into controllers … Its hit or miss sometimes regardless of how much care you put into them. Plus this has more moving parts .. which means more things could go wrong. Maybe a core version under $100 .. sure.

  31. K B

    October 20, 2022 at 1:51 pm

Cost to manufacture: £30 – selling price £200. WTF

  32. Zero Tech

    October 20, 2022 at 2:37 pm

Wow this is an expensive controller. Yeah it has a bunch of cool features and maybe competitve with major brand “pro” contollers but when Gulikit has a “pro” style contoller for less than $100 it really makes you wonder if these things are overpriced. I hope gulikit release a PS style contoller or atleast one with back buttons and adjustable triggers for $100 or less so that their is more competition in this market with more affordable pricing.

I’m gunna get it day 1 IDGAF about the cost..the back button is amazing especially if u play NBA 2k.. I had a pro controller for PS3 with back buttons it was literally a cheat with those things playing 2k11..best believe I’m gunna get it for nba 2k23.

I need another scuf vantage controller

  35. Yousif

    October 21, 2022 at 5:31 am

So I recently was finally able to upgrade from my ps4 to a ps5 digital edition ($433 w/ tax) … but my old tv doesn’t support 4k or 120 hz refresh rate, so I went all off with an LG C2 oled ($1450 w/ tax) all to be able to play CoD mw2 competitively, now u telling me I need to spend 200$+ more for a custom controller ….. well F* that …

  36. Henry Lana

My philosophy is: if I never try one, I can do without 🙃

    Battery life?

  38. Angel Ortiz

    October 21, 2022 at 4:51 pm

The price should not exceed the $100 – $120 range. How could a controller be half the price of the PS5 console itself? Makes no sense!! I want one, but I will not pay $200 for it… in my opinion, it’s way overpriced.

  39. Mr.Toytul

    October 21, 2022 at 9:13 pm

Hey great to know you guys are make tons of controllers for the few ps5 consoles they are for.

  40. NYG1991

    October 22, 2022 at 5:23 am

The price means nothing to me. That’s what I pay retail for a pair of Jordans. I’m gonna get it regardless. I just bought a bunch of new PS5 controllers a few months ago ahead of getting my soon-to-be PS5. I was skeptical at first but after watching this video now I’m sold. It’s gonna be a huge difference maker with the camera movement.

That’s always been my biggest issue that requires you to move it along with the character in the game. It’s one reason why I struggle a lot. With this controller, I’m praying it does away with that issue completely.

Waste of money 💰 I will wait till the price drop Sony doesn’t care about customers
