Really, when Apple is over here with a $3500 useless apple vision and overpriced phones and laptops? It took them how long to finally make the Neo?

It’s funny how this sounds so desperate to badmouth Google. But basically Apple Intelligence was a huge disaster and Google is coming to save Apple once again. This huge feud between Android and Apple lives only in the minds of fanpeople and a few viral ads. The companies themselves couldn’t care less as long as it’s working in favor to get them richer.

Apple already has the concept for what we actually need in an AI assistant. It was called Knowledge Navigator. They showed it off during the sculley era. Just make that, Apple. Nothing more, nothing less. The tech has finally caught up to an achieve that.

I think our host here may be a little on the jealous side, only difference between Apple Intelligence and Gemini Intelligence is that what you seen in the video isn’t some far off promise or fantasy, there actual automations that do things for you, example: just the other day i told my S26 Ultra to order me an Uber from my current location to home, and that’s literally what it did, eventually stopping at the order/purchase page were i had to make the final transaction. So the only difference between Apples Intelligence and Gemini Intelligence is that Gemini can actually carry out these automations today, like right now, were as Apple Intelligence is still stuck back in 2024 with its futuristic video that STILL has all of us waiting patiently 2 yrs later… 🤭🤣

May 16, 2026 at 11:08 am
Ridiculously biased video. You can really sense her frustration that Apple cannot build a decent AI or Siri, so it has to rely on Google.
Then, to make herself feel better, she lists several reasons why Android is bad, why Gemini is bad, and why you shouldn’t want it.
@qordyn
May 16, 2026 at 11:26 am
I thought you have been doing this for years. Do you think that the phone is actually going to buy things or send texts without your approval at this point? Really? You think that Google thinks that is a wise move right now? All the turmoil it will cause. Apple isn’t even that stupid, despite promising those Apple Intelligence features, which, did you notice, it did not break down into all the steps either. Why? Because it’s a promo show. Again, haven’t you done this for years.
Pretty sure you don’t but it’s some good stuff for this sensationalism.
I love your style. I just hate when reporters reach like this to make a piece that attacks the other side.
Golly, I sure don’t want Siri going off and buying things without me!

Google is notorious for collecting information on us. Apple is (rightly or wrongly) notorious for maintaining our privacy. Will having Gemini Intelligence baked into the Apple ecosystem mean that Google is now collecting information from Apple users? Is Apple somehow running Gemini Intelligence services from Apple’s own servers and thus keeping our information separate from Google?
@themasonera

Don’t be a hater! You wish Apple had these features. Fanboys crack me up! Cause when Apple gets anywhere near these features they’ll be blowing their loads acting like its revolutionary and its been out for years. The only mistake you made is Google constantly delivers on Gemini and their hardware. The only one in their price range to have satellite emergency communication on a smart watch at a $350 or to price vs $700+, and Gemini just works whether in Android Auto, Gemini Live screen sharing or camera sharing and even sharing the selfie camera so my AI knows I need to shave or get a haircut. It can tell me how to fix something, redecorate a room, or house, operate machinery, and I can show it contents of my closet and have it recommend what to wear, which is handy for this male with zero fashion sense. It can also look in my fridge with Gemini live camera sharing, and cupboards and even food storage (we’re LDS) and tell me if I either need to stock up on something, or what I can make with the contents I currently have and give my recipes based on my needs like gluten intolerance, peanut allergies and lactose intolerance that’s severe. It can also help me with screen sharing understand what I’m reading on my screen and give me some background and context, help me write cover letters, resumes and practice for all interview. It can do deep research and dig up info in minutes that would normally take weeks or a month and cite the sources which are valid sources not some blog or reddit forum. It can create slides, flashcards and now documents such as word and PDF files etc. Mine actually proactively makes suggestions when I chat with it and sets schedules. Google came up with call screening first, and call notes and more. Oh and a very good one, only watch in the US market I think to have loss of pulse detection. It can help you not just learn programming but vibe coding which software engineers I told me will basically handle 90% to 95% of the programming even without you knowing a line of code. Google has The Check up 2024, 2025 and 2026 where they’re heavily into medicine and it’s their I/O for medicine. They’re heavily into robotics and have a functional commercial one. They have an offline open source Gemma 4 that outperforms many high end cloud LLMs, and even in airplane mode for much of the and things they do. I’m sure there’s something I missed. Oh it can help you run a business, and Google has a vast workspace system integrated into Personal Intelligence. It connects also their health hardware and software to your doctor and is integrating Gemini into it. Etc. I’m not annoyed, or laying into you per se or trying to be toxic. I have a TBI and they think I’m neurodivergent like my sister, cousins and their kids, and I was gifted and somewhat book smart even after several TBIs and traumatic epilepsy, but I have little social perception. Family often has to correct and still misunderstands me. I’m not toxic, I just start talking meaning well without thinking but I’m slowly learning. I definitely mean no disrespect nor am I trying to assert myself as knowing more. I just think no one including myself can catch everything and specifically for that, I need Gemini on my 9 pro XL and I do agree, it should have been made to work on that very capable albeit a bit older hardware. However, I’m lucky to have AARP and a carrier I’ve been with a while that’s cuts me deals and early upgrades as well as reasonable payments and skipping some fees. Either cuz I’m over half a century old or the AARP/reputation for paying my bills. And it’s not overly difficult. My credit is about 650, rather average or low from taking bad advice from someone on bills and declaring bankruptcy instead of dropping college for a lil bit to pay off debt. Before that my score was 700 something or in the 800s or whatever. So I dumb me can get a $1000+ phone and Pixel watch 3 with LTE, 5G Home Internet, a Samsung tablet with 5G, My mom a Pixel 9 base model and a pink Pixel watch 3 with LTE, and insure them all and not ever be denied an upgrade, and in fact they push them on me frequently, and I could have bought a Pixel 10 Pro Fold if I was patient or accepted the Samsung Z Fold 7 they pushed at first, well, I chose Google though but like Baruka in Willy Wonka I wanted it now 😆 but I like your channel even if I think differently but that’s the whole point. If we don’t think differently, we’re clones and no one’s gonna innovate, be creative or be fun and unique or have much free will. I’m going to continue the video but that’s my 10 and a half cents haha oh I know from a reputable source it won’t buy your tickets etc and only takes you to that final window plus you can watch all the steps and take over any time. And it’s not just for concert tickets and what you mentioned the commercials mentioned. That’s just Google trying to be cool and appealing. In reality their AI is versatile and can follow directions and do various things from adjust your meeting per your traffic and such as we Samsung, wake you faster if traffic is gonna be a pain. Even on my Pixel 9 series I was alerted to a traffic accident miles ahead while driving in my 2019 Forester, and asked if I wanted to take a detour. Granted having it just announce it’ll the it automatically would be nice but I will take that. I agreed, and it took my to a nearby exit, through a city or few and the entire way I could see the semis and vehicles backed up for miles. It does the same for in town accidents. Even though I know the way in town I turn on Google maps for that. It’s annoying to hear interruptions, but I also get alerts about objects in the road and yes speed traps though I don’t speed nor snitch on the cops lol I hate how people drive in Utah. I hope the fuzz gets them😂I even notice people texting on the freeway. Anyway, I can literally text with Android Auto by voice and have it translated even to WhatsApp to any language. I can ask history questions, ask for detours, or the latest concerts as well while driving and restaurants or nearest gas station bathroom which comes in handy or check gas prices and go to the best option or one I have a membership in. And I thought of more, it checks local food prices, I can ask it to alert me to store AI price gouging, I forget the name of what they call it but I avoid it with AI. Oh the sweet irony. I can ask nutrition questions and not just prices and sales and options. I can get store numbers and even on the go and it’s saved in my history forever with Personal Intelligence cuz as a disabled person I set it to save it forever. And it can understand sign language which I can’t. It can translate for me if needed and this includes menus and signs. I’ve identified poisonous spiders and killed one that could have bitten my mom during gardening. It’s with Google at least, a reliable accessibility service and potential smart cognitive offloading concierge for able bodied people. You still get a ton of features on Pixel 9 series phones with just Android 16 and it’ll be just watered down with 17. Even if I was stuck with this phone, that’s like being stuck with my Subaru Forester 2019 vs a Subaru Outback Wilderness 2027. It’s more than enough to get by and still better than a lot of what’s out there. There’s a twist to the auto ETA. Yeah it’s an extra step but I can do that now. Messages on Android 16 has live location sharing. In the official Google chat servers they have suggestion boxes, and the Google researchers and Googlers hang out with us as do the mods. Well, stuff I’ve suggested has come to pass and others have done the same. I’ll suggest that a calendar event can be set with a toggle to automatically use a share live location in Android messages with anyone you’re going with that’s in the calendar event or that you choose specifically. Their chat servers are open so it’s not a giveaway. They’re just open. It’s not like they’re “getting rich off us” as they give away phones etc and I’ve won a Google blanket and also a mug but not any mug but an electric expensive coffee mug. I already have a capable phone so they already read my mind. And yeah Siri can find you pizza but can it book a reservation by voice aka Duplex or tell you if there’s free parking? If there’s gluten free options or how full it may be? Sometime I need to do more is, what will the traffic by like getting back and weather and something I got my Gemini doing since it knows I live in a violent town, one of THE most violent ones in Utah. It checks for issues each day I interact with it to let me know what’s up as well as health outbreaks like our easily avoidable measles outbreak, and it lets me know what protest areas to avoid and yeah if there’s COVID or food recalls it tells me. It’s currently better than Siri in some respects until Apple develops something in-house. I know they can, they’re innovative. Their silicon is fast though Google silicon is specialized. It’s how they are more efficient at training their AI and actually make a profit while even OpenAI who rents Nvidia hasn’t really. They actually had to ask for a government bailout then backpedaled. At least they got smart though likely too late the will work with Broadcom I think it was to make their own chips.
