I applauded Sony for not going the conventional box look like every other dam device you have on your entertainment center.
This look will stand out from the rest. When someone walks into your living room, it will be noticed because its not a black box on a stand.

Nothing Odd about a company spending money on their consoles design and esthetics. They obviously think people care about looks and to form and function these companies wouldn’t call those people Odd. That’s why consoles design change inside each generation.

Why do so many people think it’s weird to care about how something that will be displayed in your livingroom looks? I dont think I have a single thing in my livingroom that I just picked up and placed there without considering if it would be aesthetically pleasing, or at the very least, not distracting. This design is neither of those.

I have to say, when i see TECH channels do these videos and say “will it let you swap out a hard drive”…. Look IF the digital edition ships with a 1tb/2tb ssd the cost will be huge, sony have stated nvme drives will be tested and within 6 months approved nvme drives for expansion will be available to add more internal storage, why do you not know this?? If the physical disk version has this the digital version will also be this way, things by now, said weeks ago should be known to you.
