Surface Pro 7 review: Hello, old friend 🧙
Josh Souza

I’ve had the Fold, Fold 2, and Fold 4… I also briefly owned Surface Duo. The Pixel Fold seems to be a nice mash up of the Fold 3 and Duo 2 with all out modern specs so I’m in…. trading my Fold 4 towards the Pixel.

Have the Fold 4, and Surface Duo. Without stylus support, won’t be shaking any finances up to go get this. I do want this for the crazy dictation, and believe it or not, that sky blue case.

The price of these will plummet after a few months if the Pixel 7 range is anything to go by. Hang on and save a fortune.

How do you people afford these lol. Even that, are you that strapped to your phone all day?

I have the Z Fold 4 and enjoying it. I just don’t like that the external screen is so narrow. I love screen ratios of the Pixel Fold – just wish it had stylus support. This is tough but I’m really wanting the Pixel Fold now.

That’s the crossroads I’m at. I want the stylus in the pixel

I’d take the Pixel Fold any day, naked Android with no bloat ware.

I’ve purchased at taken back the fold 2 and 4. Each time I’ve wanted so badly to love it..but it’s shape is to awkward. The front screen is to small to use comfortably to text, or as a phone In general. The pixel seems to be a way better fit.

Galaxy fold’ narrow outer screen is too hard for typing. But i am worried for Pixel fold’s heavy weight as well.

Finally I’ve found a suitable replacement for my Fold 2. I’ve owned it for a little more than 2 years now and I still can’t get used with the narrow outer screen. It’s damn unusable when you have a thick phone cover on it and use gestures to navigate. I just need to see the Pixel’s bezels face to face to see if I can deal with it.

Almost 2 grand for a phone? Yeah, screw that.

Considering the Samsung fold 4 has comparable features and can be bought new for $1000 without trade in (see Google Fi for example), it’s hard to make a case to get the pixel fold. Also, Google is notorious for releasing half baked pixels with numorous bugs. I can guarantee that the pixel fold will be available on black Friday with better discounts as well.

Pixel fold looks way better. As much as I wanted a foldable I could never stand the narrow Samsung, and the android version they have. I need all those pixel features! The only downside really is the ridiculous price

The hinge on my z fold 2 won’t open all the way, it’s misaligned inside in some way. So I think my next choice will be the pixel. I like the Android with no added budleware too, like Bixby and the galaxy store. I think options for a stock Android ROM are more likely with the pixel. But we’ll see when the time comes. If custom ROM support is there and multi-window support is as good as Samsung then I’m going Google next time

That Pixel Fold is way too wide when closed. Will feel big and not pocketable

The pixel looks to be a better design and usability. Can’t wait to get my hands on one.

I’m not a big fan of *wider* phones. I tend to lean on *taller and slimmer* form factors.
If the price of these foldables goes down *below $1300* then it’s something I would purchase.
For right now, they’re *novelty devices* to me.
I’d much rather buy a *good laptop* or *very good tablet* for that price!

Good comparison video. I’ve got the ZFold 4 and now I won’t worry about it being outdated. The external display is sufficient and good for a phone and texting. When you need a bigger display, you simply open it up. Then, when you whip out the stylus and start writing on it, people’s jaws drop open 😮

Google came out swinging looking for blood! Honestly the form factor of the Pixel looks more elegant and comfortable in my opinion. The skinny outer display of the Galaxy looks cheap to me. Rooting for Google on this one!!!
