    We forget that A.I. is trained on data that is created by humans, so it may develop some biased behaviors.

    Important reporting regarding how systemic implicit biases can be hard-coded as ‘fact’ into automated decision-making. Similarly to how automated soap 🧼 dispensers and sinks perform much worse for those with melanated hands, it’ll take a concerted effort to ensure a wider-range of perspectives and lived experiences are at the helm of the q/a process.

    Plot twist: Blacks with unique names like Joshawn, Shaniqua, etc… are named that specifically to let everyone know they will not assimilate. I think that’s why those names rank low.
