At $300 this is one amazing phone. Forget spending $1.4k

Never ever in my life I will buy OnePlus or other phone with Chinese software.
There is a reason their 5G equipment is banned in USA, and for the same reason I will avoid buying them.
But I would avoid OnePlus simply because they turned OxygenOS into ColouOS, not only for security reasons.

So which phone would you buy then? There is a reason why the us did that but it’s certainly not the software or for security reasons

      @Kasallamacher Samsung? Pixel?

@Kasallamacher why? No Chinese software there, Samsung phones are even assembled in Vietnam.

Nowadays, I cannot endorse OnePlus phones due to the subpar performance of their software development team in addressing bug fixes and resolving significant hardware issues. A considerable number of users within their community have expressed dissatisfaction with the software updates, as each patch seems to introduce new problems.

    Just don’t.

Cannot confirm that. Very happy with my 9pro

Nice does quick look… the Nord has a 5000 mah battery that will make it easily last a day , SD card support and a headphone jack a large 6.7 screen and so the cameras might not be the best it does have some good points.

      June 18, 2023 at 5:29 am

I don’t get it why they put those stupid cameras in there. Just put a 48mpx main sensor and a proper ultra wide instead of wasting all the budget one the 108mpx

      June 18, 2023 at 8:30 am

@Kasallamacher I totally agree. Just put a decent lens in there and skip all the it looks like it’s got multiple lenses. Kind of crap.

Nobody buys them over in India due to poor software ads and bloatwares and occasional heating issues and green lines on the screens are very common. Try any other brand.

      June 18, 2023 at 5:32 am

This isn’t common at all. Software is one of its strong points

Ever since the pixel 7 came out, every other android phone just isn’t worth it

    • Faris Hanafiah

      June 16, 2023 at 7:15 am

If it’s around the Pixel 7 price, I can agree. But “every other” phone? No, not a chance.
