Thank you for sharing. Financial education is crucial today to show incredible resilience and discipline in the volatile market, masterfully balancing strategy and insight for success. This dedication to continuous learning is inspiring…managed to grow a nest egg of around 200k to a decent 632k in the space of a few months… I’m especially grateful to Evelyn Infurna, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

I think he was a little annoyed at the intro. Most financial news nowadays they look at the price of the stock first and then make up the story, since it’s down they had a negative spin. And a negative spin is fine as long as it’s based on your research, but it seems like they pulled the reason out of thin air… Decided it should be related to Blackwell because that’s the most interesting thing to talk about.

“demand for AI capacity goes down” … no way that happens before 2027/2028. People simply do not understand the impact of AI over the next 15 years. Period. It’s UNDER hyped…although the infrastructure investments before huge ROI will take longer than current silly expectations.

I think he was annoyed at the intro, he kind of said it.. financial news nowadays is looking at the price of the stock and then coming up with a story after based on the stock movement. Because it was down they pulled the black reason out of thin air. Lazy reporting.

Should have asked about 1. Nvidia’s involvement/development of quantum computing. 2. And most important question of them all which was completely ignored: when is the 5090 going to be released?

    • @jackchoy6969

      August 29, 2024 at 12:37 am

5090’s release schedule is the least important of them all. Nearly all the revenues are coming from data center. 5090 sales will likely represent a very low single-digit percentage of its revenues as well as low margins. Analysts shouldn’t waste investors’ time with such stupid questions.

It feels like we’re on the cusp of a new era where AI becomes a true cognitive partner in the workplace. What aspects of AI are you most excited about for 2024?

    • @claypool7897

      August 29, 2024 at 12:45 am

The misinformation, record job losses.and AI powered wars. Just kidding. But my point i I agree that we are on the cusp of a new era but there could be some negative side effects to be concerns about. At first AI is going to be a partner, a tool, and and an assistant. That will increase efficiency and make our lives easier. But the next step could be a lot of unemployment.

Educative content🧑‍🏫! Many of the assets currently being held may be unsustainable and could eventually depreciate to nothing, similar to what we saw with Luna and other projects. It’s important to consider trading your assets while there’s still value to be captured, rather than holding on and risking significant loss.
