Victor Sweeney is such a good name for a mortician, my god the flair and flavor is off the charts

  69. Eniram

    November 5, 2023 at 9:08 am

I’ve been watching his videos and I recently learned that here in France we don’t embalm bodies like they do in the States. Morticians don’t have such an intrusive approach on bodies, they just clean them up, dress them and put makeup on them and that’s it. No embalming fluids no puncturing organs no draining blood

  70. Dioskeiry De La Cruz

    November 5, 2023 at 2:41 pm

Embalming is incredibly bad for the environment. It is a know carcinogen. Caskets do NOT stay shut underground and that fluid can leak out into the soil.

  83. Lauren H

    November 6, 2023 at 6:22 am

I love every video Victor is in on this channel. The difference between the hearses in the US and UK is interesting. Ours are black, no flags, and the back is windowed, so you can see the coffin and flowers as its driven. Also with having coffins instead of caskets we don’t see the body at the funeral, which is something I don’t think I could bear! 😳

this guy give me a serial killer vibe

  85. mostlyokay

    November 6, 2023 at 7:38 am

Embalming and burying seem like such a waste of perfectly good nutrients… I’d love to just be left on the ground somewhere my body could be eaten by scavengers, provide nutrients for bacteria and fungi… would also save a lot of money in labor and all these chemicals. Has anyone quantified the impact of these ritual practices on the environment?

    The “hot mortician” is back.

  149. Darialis Pacheco

    November 9, 2023 at 3:06 pm

    Ok but listen

Imagine a series where a mortician is actually a serial killer. He would carefully select his victims by looking at their features, style, and age. His satisfaction would be to get to prepare their bodies, he feels he has the only right to do it…so that is why he kills them to make sure they reach his hands.

(I know death is serious and sad, it should be treated with respect as well, but I just had this idea that I feel it would make a good book/series)

His name is Victor M. Sweeney. He was born to be a mortician.

  151. james mahaney

    November 9, 2023 at 3:59 pm

Unfortunaly he older than me so I’ll outlive him so he won’t be able to be my embalmer but I would of def chose him to do mine when my time comes

    November 9, 2023 at 6:44 pm

Tbh I get why people would want to or have a family member go through this process but for me personally I don’t want this when I die I’m dead and don’t care what happens to my body it’s not like I can complain anyway lol 😂

  157. Aaron Koscielski

    November 9, 2023 at 8:03 pm

Why does he look EXACTLY as I imagined a mortician would look like?!

I love this guy. I could see him in a GTA cutscene where he’s talking to you about a job to be done while he’s embalming a body or something. 😂

  160. K Johnson

    November 10, 2023 at 1:35 pm

Thank you for explaining it all. I’ve recently been educating myself about the entire process. If I’d known what all it entails before my parents passed, I’d have definitely chosen green burial for both of them. I’d rather my loved ones leave this earth with what they were born with. I know that everyone has different perspectives.

When he said “Variety is the spice of death here” I actively groaned out loud and went “Oh, come on.”

I immediately need a series with Victor.
