The forwards button with Bing is inconsistent and has to be enabled in Edge.
Edge doesn’t let you set the default page for new tabs. A redirect extension for new tabs won’t work with bookmarks when the setting: “only show bookmarks on new tab” is used.
Clicking on a youtube video in Bing brings up Bing Video as an annoying middle man. Clicking again on the video will open YouTube in a new page with that old Bing video still playing in the background. You gotta go back to close that tab or pause that Bing video.
In my experience, Google generally has better results.
Search: “Temp”
Google: interactive weather widget
Bing: Web pages and definition of “Temp”
Search: “NRDS”
Google: Nerdwallet Stock Interactive widget
Bing: the 5th result mentions NerdWallet
I prefer Google and Chrome.

Microsoft Build 2023 revealed in one sentence: “Everything runs slow and is undependable.” They have no idea how to consolidate and create ease of use. It’s so jumbled and convoluted, and only gets more unnecessarily complex, making Windows cumbersome. They need to remodel the whole system. People want things that just work, not something you have to make work by being an amateur software engineer. Linux and MacOS have been on the right track for years, and Windows is missing the mark at each checkpoint.

If you’re implying that Linux is easier to use than Windows then I would like to try Linux out.
What flavor of Linux do you recommend for someone like me who is NOT a coder/programmer but likes to tinker with stuff?
Closest thing to “coding” I’ve done is use ADB on Windows to modify my Android phone.
Casey Roberts
May 23, 2023 at 6:10 pm
@PSYCHO Linux Ubuntu.

May 23, 2023 at 7:36 pm
@Casey Roberts I agree with you when you say every product of Microsoft is convoluted and has no sense, but if you think that Ubuntu is the solution to this you are all wrong, Ubuntu is everything but “common” user-friendly.
Casey Roberts
May 23, 2023 at 8:06 pm
@Mijael Viricochea Parra The solution is MacOS. I was giving someone an option for a Linux system that was better than Windows, which is basically all of them.

Yeah nah mate, From the Start Menu, to the Windows Context Menu to something as simple as the Seogue Font, Microsoft have made Windows into an OS for everyone. Sure if you want a restricted environment then go ahead and choose Mac or Linux, but I have everything I will ever need specially with Windows 11. I’ve tried a bunch of Debian and Arch based distros and Mac too. Mac’s too restrictive while Linux requires you search up a line of Code to do the most basic tasks. With Windows I have the ease of use of Mac and the openness of Linux specially now that Windows has it’s own terminal that can run Linux through WSL

I have all my password 2fa security keys all integrated into safari on my Mac and iPhone, I use bing and edge currently but now bard is available on safari as soon as it gets good enough to drop bing I honestly will for the simplicity of going back to one browser where all my bookmarks passwords 2FA keys are already stored. so in my opinion they should stop pushing the bing app and edge and make it web based instead of browser and app based so it can be used in safari. currently bard is already more accurate at some things I have tried

Edge is a piece of garbage browser just like Bing. Everyone despise edge because is to bloated and crappy. Their bunch of liars and also forcing everyone to use it against user’s will. Don’t trust crappy edge or even use it. Did you think that everyone want to edge after this, absolutely nothing. Not even in a thousand years. No wonder crappy edge and Bing market share are decreasing due to MS dirty deeds. Everyone should move to google chrome. Crappy edge and Bing are not going to survive in the next few decades.

So many websites are going to be made irrelevant. So many. Because what would be the need to visit websites anymore, be flooded with annoying, intrusive spammy Ads and cookies and closing things which won’t go away and all that hustle we currently go through . When I can just ask these tools and get the info I want, minus the other nonsense we currently have to go through to get that info. So I think it’s time websites evolved. To what? I don’t know
