Would have been great if CNN had got some pricing on EDU model. Being an institution it would have not been hard to do that.

impressive but can it do chores?

  42. @Putt-Putt

    August 5, 2025 at 4:19 am

I feel like police departments could actually use this. Just let it handle traffic during peak hours or big events. For $6K, not bad to have it act as a traffic marshall.

  43. @multithehook412

  58. @gladeous4161

    August 6, 2025 at 5:23 pm

This would be cool if Boston Dynamics haven’t already been showing off useless impractical moves like this for like a decade now? Not very impressive at all. How about actual work for a change?

  59. @DivineStride

    August 6, 2025 at 6:20 pm

So it’s essentially a giant toy that can do tricks and collect dust. Wake me up when it can fold clothes.

  64. @explorerofmind

    August 7, 2025 at 12:24 am

A humanoid robot without hands? What’s the point?

  65. @TheGuillotineKing

    August 7, 2025 at 1:34 am

It’s meant for development and to build the next generation of robotics it’s a research platform so the short answer is yes it can fold your clothes and clean your house put you need to program and teach and train on how to do these things

  66. @appl2597

    August 7, 2025 at 3:05 am

It’s truly incredible this cost less than $6000.
As someone who used to design and build industrial machines, it’s unthinkable to me that they’re able to sell a human robot for so low price and not suffer huge losses.

  67. @o_o825

    August 7, 2025 at 4:16 am

Then offer them more pay!! Why is the military the problem when the pay sucks everywhere else on this island?

The answer is not to make federal jobs offer less income.

  68. @jamesbasaldua100

    August 7, 2025 at 1:10 pm

Will it close down if a microwave bean hits it.

Imagine squaring up to one of these robots. 😂

  72. @PeterSedesse

    August 8, 2025 at 7:21 am

They need to show videos of them doing something useful, like picking vegetables, or carrying/pulling stuff. Nobody is going to pay $6k to watch a robot doing cartwheels. As they make them smaller and lighter, it makes it much less likely they are looking to sell them as tools, but rather just toys.

  73. @GUANJIETECH

    August 8, 2025 at 8:32 am

    😂😂😂

  74. @AlexanderWiggins-y8z
