Any More Data on How The Engine Works others than it being just a big hot water pressure vessel?
@teoteo-s197
June 22, 2026 at 3:04 am
It can’t be explained any more simply than it already has. This is already simple, since it’s technically a rocket engine. And using steam as the propellant makes this the simplest rocket. There’s no oxidizer, fuel lines, turbo pump, coolant, or moving parts. Superheated steam isn’t even “hot water.” It’s a totally dry and invisible gas. The act of releasing the steam by opening a valve is what composes the engine’s whole function.

Ah… memories. I drove a pulsejet powered drag car in an episode of Scrapheap Challenge at Santapod back in 2002.

Is awesome, but am not sure about this.
Has a wife who supports and loves him, most likely kids and grandkids- for me is not worth risking your life over and ruining everyone else’s life… to see you splattered all over a track.

The cool thing is that superheated steam is totally “dry” (it contains no moisture) and completely invisible. So the container holding the bike’s fuel would just look to be empty, if you could somehow peer inside.

did you research if using a turbine would be better or worse?

@oSJmee
June 22, 2026 at 4:53 am
Yes the bike and the idea is impressive, but what I REALLY like about this, the amount of safety measurements. This guy is really thinking about the safety of him and others and that impressed me the most.
