its so bizzare and yet AMAZING to see him so open, so transparent, so HIMSELF in these interviews despite all those years of scandal and controversy. First his parents, then his finances, they his attempts to come back into acting,…… It reminds me of Brendan Frasier, a worthy revival, an acknowledgement of talent that is long past due that is actually paying off IN hollywood!!! We may see Macaulay in upcoming major blockbusters and I wouldn’t be surprised. I fully support a “second chance’ for those who never REALLY got a “first chance”. Child actors have such an uphill battle its depressing.

There is this weird dilemma that we all have to wrestle with…
We have an entertainer who we love but when we find out they were abused in some way as children, how do we reconcile the horror of that with the recognition that if it wasn’t for that (to one degree or another) we probably would not have got the entertainer we have today. Michael Jackson also comes to mind (ironically they were friends).
The sad and somewhat ironic thing is that is how the abuser rationalizes the abuse “I am doing this for your own good and to bring an elite talent to the world:”
So then the question is…at what cost are we willing to accept this.
