I think this pandemic has taught people the importance of multiple streams of income, unfortunately having a job doesn’t mean security rather having different investments is the real deal.

🤯 Damn! Apple just dropped the mic with the Mac Studio and the insane M1 Ultra. But I’m gonna wait for the Fall hardware event before I say Tim take my money as it’s safe to say that event is gonna be absolutely insane. 💰😁

You cannot use Windows on any M1 or non-intel Macs

March 9, 2022 at 3:05 am
You can use Parallels or similar software though to run two OS’s at the same time – just make sure you have enough RAM to support it

Remember, there are two Windows, one for X86 and a hopelessly useless version for ARM.

Scalper 3090 gpu prices are an even bigger joke. pick ur poison. Literally the most advanced consumer cpu chip in the world

@Osita Anisiobi It’s an overclocked ARM mobile chip, Apple just renamed, wow sheeple are dumb. Also, Apple are now copying GPU scalper prices at retail rrp now?!?

I’m super jacked about this announcement! I am only a photographer so I won’t be able to take full advantage of the horsepower but it’ll be nice having that overhead waiting for me to do batch edits or renders.

What I’ve been waiting months for is the Mac Mini M1 Pro. That is what I want. The Mac Mini M1 is under powered for what I need and the Mac Studio is overpowered and over priced for what I need. The high end Mac Mini M1 is $899. The low end Mac Studio is $1999. That is an $1100 gap. A Mac Mini M1 Pro for around $1199 would be just right. Apple wake up. You lost a sale today by not providing what I need. Don’t think for a second that I’m ever going to spend the extra money on a Mac Studio because your trying to force people to spend more money. Not going to happen.

Nice to see Apple has gotten into the “OnlyFans” bandwagon with that cooling system.

My question is? How other companies complaining the lack of “chips” but yet Apple somehow managed to bring something new to the table with a new chip?
Tony Burzio
March 10, 2022 at 5:04 am
Because they were at the start of a chip changeover when the pandemic struck and had the chip fabs already booked.

The $1000 monitor stand from Apple may _sound_ expensive but you have to remember that it will also do all of the following: wash your dishes, clean your car, go grocery shopping for you and pay for it using Apple Pay, baby sit your kids, wrap its arms around you while you spin pottery à la Patrick Swayze in Ghost, refinance your house for a much lower interest rate, petition your local city council to have four way stop signs installed at a notoriously dangerous intersection, drive you to work while you finish a last minute project, solve world hunger, and finally give you a foot massage after a hard day at work. What’s that? It doesn’t do any of that? So it’s just a $1000 chunk of metal worth maybe $100? Oh… nevermind.

I was disappointed. I was ready to see a slightly upgraded Mac Mini with the Pro Chip starting at $799.00. I mean the $2000 starting price is a shock? Who is going to pop for the Studio because you got to have it and end up regretting it when the new Mini arives? Probably me.

I am disappointed that the new M1 Ultra’s graphics is not any better than the nVidia 3090, despite how expensive the new Mac Studio is with maxed out graphics.
Andrew Schappacher
March 9, 2022 at 3:03 am
I hear ya, especially at this price. However, hardware is only one piece of the puzzle- the software of how the chip can be optimized will take this chip to another level (dependent on what software/use you’re planning on using the Max Studio for). Apple has always been the king of hardware/software optimization, and hopefully others like Avid, Adobe and others can optimize their software for this new chip.

Wow! What an absolute letdown!!!
So the iPhone 13 is just a new color! Really? I can get green with a protective cover.
Apple TV + – What’s really new? Nothing from my perspective.
IPad Air – I could hardly understand what the girl was saying and the iPad isn’t enough for me to trade up. Sorry.
Mac Studio & Monitor – Not at all what I need so it’s a no for me. Especially given that I could buy a brand new Motorcycle for the same price … or less!!
I guess what I was looking for was an update/correction to the 24″ M1 iMac that needs was more RAM!! Please correct this issue Apple.
Granted I’m driven to disappointment because I’ve been having so many problems with my “new” 24″ M1 iMac and just wanted a solution.
This was simply a major letdown for me. My opinion and I’ll own it. Thanks.

That beard is pushing wizard level badassery Dan!
After Crapple nuked the battery on the iPhone 6 they lost my support for life, but that said these new M1 chips are the only thing innovating they have done since Jobs.
