It’s a great point you’re making there. If we heard this as often as we hear about the mess the world and its human inhabitants are in, then we wouldn’t be in such a mess. I appreciate the mess, of course, if that’s all we have, but wouldn’t we have more to appreciate if it weren’t there?

Peers and mental health and social workers should be masters at this . Addicts go to meetings, attack your problems with appreciation even if appreciation is just staying quiet, you are in complete control and therefore the responsibility is on you to leave the outcome good
