To the people who said that laptops are already foldable, the title as of writing says “first foldable SCREEN laptop.”

Serves really no purpose and solves no problem

looks cool but also worthless. Laptops can already fold and doesn’t look like a 3DS when closed

Exactly and you don’t have buy a keyboard separately lol

I love the concept but the price really needs to come down to be considered as doable

    • Bryan Miller

      December 2, 2020 at 5:48 pm

Same as a surface duo or galaxy fold, needs to get like 40% cheaper

  6. Paula Deem Reynolds

    December 2, 2020 at 3:32 pm

$2500??? I’ll stick with my Lenovo 17 in laptop (desktop) until that price comes way down!

    December 2, 2020 at 3:49 pm

This is a stupid product, windows is a terrible tablet experience and it seems like a terrible laptop experience since you lose half of the screen real state because let’s be honest, the on screen keyboard on windows also suck. If you don’t have a flat surface to place this frankenstein of a product then its useless. It seems to be a mediocre laptop and a mediocre tablet, with that price you can get a good tablet and a good laptop and maybe save some money.

I agree OLED display are costlier but 2500$ is to much for the laptop

  15. Bryan Miller

    December 2, 2020 at 5:47 pm

Rather have a dual booting device or just wait for apples A16 chip in two years when it will be powerful enough to run macOS bigsur and could work as a desktop when connected to a tv or monitor

  16. Tom Grimes

    December 2, 2020 at 5:58 pm

What’s missing from your video is an EXPLANATION for why this isn’t a practical substitute for a standard laptop. You appear the assume that the viewer will intuit why it’s not practical. Show why it’s not a practical alternative, don’t just say it isn’t. You somehow forgot to include the point of doing the video. Were I you, I’d take this down and start over. The problem is that the device looks like a practical alternative. There’s nothing visually that would appear to not make it a competitor with standard laptops. So, you have to be explicit and describe what it is that makes it impractical.

This new think pad fold should be the largest size available nintendo switch the smallest should be 6 inch unfolded. Its the only thing I can think of that would make such a big folding device useful.

  35. James McDonald

    December 3, 2020 at 11:10 am

If a screen folds, it’s plastic. If it’s plastic you can scratch it with even your fingernail.

    Rubbish. Janky, gimmicky rubbish.

like for Photoshop or Illustrator there could be a fast toggle between zooming to a 100 pct canvas and zooming out to 50 pct size canvas for assisting the creation process for artwork

This is brilliant. Microsoft should come up with this kind of version of their surface products

    • Alex McCaffrey

      December 5, 2020 at 2:58 am

They actually did. It’s almost a copy of the Surface Neo, right down to the keyboard. That was going to run the foldable orientated Windows 10X.

  66. DJ THINK realdjthink

another cool idea for photoshop and illustrator would be that you draw on one half of the open screen and click an option in the software to mirror, and then close the tablet and open it again and voila it is a mirrored drawing, sort of like applying a stamp on the 2nd half of the screen.

If it works with a stylus, I actually see a lot of potential for it. Having your script on the upper part of the screen and your notes on the lower part during a lecture would be a very big reason for me to buy it
