I’m amazed he claims his body his healthy, I assume all competitive eaters eventually do serious damage to themselves. To each their own I suppose, but I’m grossed out even thinking about it.

This video should not exist, same as “competitive eating”. Food is supposed to be healthy and something to enjoy. Just stuffing huge amounts of food in one’s face as fast as possible is unhealthy and a waste of food!

    • @Authenticitytrip

      August 29, 2024 at 4:22 pm

Is only game! Why you have to be mad? Clearly this guy finds it enjoyable enough to do it for a living. I don’t disagree that it’s a bit of a waste of food, but it doesn’t strike me as being, like, some kind of societal issue that these contests exist. I think it’s pretty interesting!

Joey’s not my favorite competitive eater, but man is an undisputed beast, final boss of eating and has been at the top a LONG time. I remember when Kobayashi first crushed Nathans and introduced the dunking technique sometime in the early 2000s. Joey came along shortly thereafter and has been dominating since. Huge respect, competitive eating seems like a real tough gig.

  39. @adamluther5836

    August 30, 2024 at 4:12 pm

For so long I just assumed larger people (not necessarily fat, just big in build entirely) would be much more competitive eaters, but its quite interesting how size and build have very little correlation to competitive eating ability at all.

Larry Burkett’s book on “Giving and Tithing” drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2021 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in my life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 30,000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, 1 receive 75,000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot. God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams.

    September 4, 2024 at 3:04 pm

What people need to realize is that competitive eating is like any other sport. First of all these guys are just naturally better at eating than most people, just like how professional athletes are naturally better at their respective sport than most people. Second they train all year long and find the most efficient way they can to eat whatever it is they eat. Third they optimize their routines, professional athletes find ways to recover after they compete.

    • @fk5400

      September 5, 2024 at 7:06 am

Thank you, i found a reasonable human being.

    • @anubis520

      September 5, 2024 at 4:24 pm

That’s simple. It is human nature to be competitive. As time goes by competitions become standardized to prove who is in fact better within the bounds. With time new techniques and better form is discovered which can take the competition to a higher level. Then you get inhuman performance (as shown in the video) of what the human body is capable of.
