Pls explain how direction control is working on this drone. Even forward flying since the double props just provide downward thrust.

Maybe it’s just me, but my first thought is I really hope they put some caging or something around the blades. I can see a LOT of accidents happening if this is sold to the public with blades like that just chopping everything up near them 😬

They should cost less than a dirt bike and until that happens hardly anyone will buy one.

I found out paramotor flying is cheaper, you can stay up for hours and you can go over 18,000 feet and fly over the mountains if you want.

National parks are already drone restricted so I’m guessing you won’t be flying the Grand Canyon or Yosemite with it – and 20 min is probably more like 15 so buzzing around a field or something will be about it until the battery tech improves.
I’d still rather have one of these than a similarly priced car 🙂 That would buy a LOT of bicycles though…

It’s illegal to fly any drones in National Parks with heavy fines. Please do not misinform people even though it’s just an idea of yours. People do take your words accountable sometimes.

I want to fly this over Atlanta traffic. Although they’re saying this is a recreational vehicle, they will continue working towards more battery life, additional features, and more comfort for this to eventually become a flying car. That’s the only way they’re going to make enough money to keep this concept going.

I almost for real put a deposit down until I found out its stats.I will buy one in a second when they make an adult version .Its also illegal to fly any were in the states minus privet property not being a hater ile buy one yesterday once they make the next model witch is probably made already.

Ill take playing my guitar with my mates over 100k flying machine any day. God bless. 🤘🤘

  77. Rob Atkinson

    January 21, 2022 at 1:51 pm

JAA, CAA, and FAA.. it will need type approval and some kind of license. OK on private land and in Dubai maybe. Cool project though. The bathtub guys pioneered this a few years back as I recall. Similar setup. Battery and electrical systems will need some kind of redundancy system. All-in-all though, the e-Hang is where the real money is and whatever BAE have in the works with their modular system.

This is exactly what Jetoptera should be doing right now. Single rider craft using their ducted fan design (which is much, much safer than a series of high-speed propellers spinning near the exposed rider.

  91. Garrison R

    January 21, 2022 at 6:37 pm

This design is garbage. Even dragonflies, the closest living thing to drones have wings for a reason. They are used for gliding to save energy. No wing = useless. Not to mention those uncovered prop blades without covers or indicators. This thing will never get certification.

You can not fly them in national parks, unless you are making a movie for a Hollwood…probably.

Well there is not battery breakthrough coming anytime soon guy, what we have is it.

  131. Gerald Taylor

    January 23, 2022 at 7:10 am

These prototypes look super cool and fun to fly. My concern is the exposed blades. With all flying crafts, there will be accidents. And I can already see the pilots being cut to pieces by the blades during a crash. The engineers need to improve the design so the blades are covered up. Other than that, they look like the transportation vehicles of the future. Can’t wait to see them.

  132. MaxMisterC

    January 23, 2022 at 11:56 am

If they think it’s easy to fly & they encourage rich playboys to fly them through forests….
Then, I guess, we’ll soon be hearing about drunk, drug-fueled, idiot Billionaires, killing themselves, crashing into trees, they couldn’t see, for the woods..

You need a detacheabe wind generator for loading and you can fly to the work an the wind generator recharges some km during the day.

I’d like a Y split toe on each corner and two double blades come off each spoke, with the VTOL able to fly on just one propellor on each corner.

The price of first adaption $92K. The price of a jet ski $5-15K.

  141. Tom Dunman

    January 23, 2022 at 5:29 pm

So 10 mins out and 10 mins back. Seems somewhat limited. Unless there a “refuelling” area which then takes away the freedom element to the experience. Cool. But soooo def needs to have those batteries worked on

  142. Don Dutch

    January 23, 2022 at 5:59 pm

im all about something like this.. this looks like… not it.. not yet… people would be crashing these things like mad with this design..

I think the biggest hurdle will be getting FAA approval. Probably it will only be approved far away from all other air traffic.

  146. Jasper

    January 23, 2022 at 8:11 pm

It would be fun to fly, but I’m very worried that EVTOLs will go mainstream and will become a giant source of sound polution. Imagine running or hiking in nature and having these things flying around everywhere. They are extremely noisy.

    January 23, 2022 at 10:21 pm

The amputee generator 1000 offers not only to make your friends and relatives amputees but for the bargin price of 92,000 you too can become an amputee. For 30,000 you can buy a brand new mosquito XE LOL

  148. Charles Bevitt

Get flight time up to 1 hour with 10 min charge time and id buy one for 30k or so!
90k! I could build my own and it would have a couple toys attatched.

  150. Matthew Tratz

    January 24, 2022 at 1:13 am

Good luck flying that in the States. The FAA would have a field day if you were anywhere near people or National Parks.

  177. Peter Henden

  183. John Smith

  185. gio2vanni86

    January 30, 2022 at 6:47 am

First it needs a price reduction of about 1/5 to even be recreational fun. A top dog razor goes from 30-40k and thats a 4 seater. This thing seats one person should be priced tops 20k. For a measly 20 minutes it better have hot swappable batteries and come with at least 8 to make any recreational fun to last. This is only for the luxurious rich people.

  186. J C

    January 30, 2022 at 12:11 pm

If they can get the flight time to 1 hour I’m all for it

  187. Tom Bauto

    January 30, 2022 at 1:43 pm

graphene battery + carbon fiber body might produce longer flight and faster, but time will come if this really sells off then mas production would be cheaper in the future.

  193. Abdull Adams

    January 31, 2022 at 11:30 am

Looks more like a drone 🤷🏽‍♂️

That guy wasn’t lying our technology is light years behind. Here we’re still using propellers to create thrust lift off into the ski just to maneuver around or just flying, but aliens 👽 here they can move through the atmosphere without thrust. They’re craft are able to bend space and time like. It’s like swimming water but without water around you

  194. Abdull Adams

    January 31, 2022 at 11:31 am

👽 Alien space craft is nothing but an field propulsion craft. What it does or how it works is that it creates a distortion in space and time in front of the craft itself, where space actually bends.

  195. Abdull Adams

    January 31, 2022 at 11:34 am

We can’t even comprehend that kinda technology because if we some how was to it’ll change the entire world and the way we live today

Our technology is like living back in the 1800s
    😁😂

  196. Road Side

    January 31, 2022 at 12:54 pm

If we have the technology why aren’t we making them go a few hundred miles?
Why are these smaller than cars ? One seater ? Small blades ?
Looks like someone’s looking for profits Over performance
