Surface Pro 7 review: Hello, old friend 🧙
@ICDeadPeeps
December 29, 2023 at 3:04 pm
Maybe I’m being a bit paranoid but I don’t want my face 3D scanned. Deep fake technology is scary as it is, I don’t want anyone to have the ability to recreate my face in some doctored video at will.
@amitthehuman
December 29, 2023 at 3:09 pm
I would like to see what the primary use cases will be and will it be able to replace any existing devices. The smart watches took a while before settling on the health angle and in the same way I’m waiting for the AR/VR/XR space to find a use case that will make all of this worth it. It also means that the use case can’t be gaming or media consumption, because that’s not a good enough reason to buy a special expensive computer that straps to your face.

It’s good for the industry that apple is entering this space, but never buy the first lineup of a new product. Wait a couple years until they sort the kinks out. I’m kinda waiting for the quest 4 as the 3 doesn’t have eye tracking.

Great dress. Very modest cover your breast or cleavage. Next step wear head covering. Bleive it or not, most of American history dressed like muslims . Taliban is Role model But u dont need to dress in all burqa be all that tight. just extra. just do basics. Drfess in modest clothes, dresses, long skirts, do not reveal shape of body especally if your women. don’t show your belly button considered awra or forbidden part.

December 29, 2023 at 5:52 pm
My question is will it sell enough at that price point for Apple to keep making and iterating on them for the years to come. It’s like she said it’s not a necessity or as seamless as a watch. So idk if it’ll work in a manner so immersive that you’ll have to have it. I know I’d rather buy a MacBook or iPad then spend $3500 on a headset with limited battery life.
@ScibFilms2
December 29, 2023 at 5:56 pm
a LOT of people have lost intwrest in the apple headset already when it comes to a lot of work and social communities. just because that Apple resolution is higher, everyone is not hyped for it due to the lack of promotion. by apple and the lack of content. most people spend 5-10 hours into VR for work and social aswell as games of course. with the Apple there a lack of interest to its product as there is no killer app for the consumor to hook themselves into. there is no social app where you spend time with people and socialize. Apple is too much of a personal experiance sadly whilst Meta has opened it up so that you can interact with family and friends from all over the world and enjoy time with each other.

When will it come to Europe?
When will there be different versions? What is their vision on different Vision skews/midels?
Is there a way to make this product family friendly in the way that my family and me can use one Vision or do you need to buy more models? If yes, is there enough incentive to do so!?

Bridget your coverage on the Apple Vision Pro up until now has been exceptional, great job. Once the unit is released, I’m really hoping you guys go in-depth on what it’s like to watch movies on the Pro. It’s the only reason I’m interested in the headset. Apple claims it will be like being in an IMAX theater. If the experience is anywhere close to that, I will buy one no questions asked.

Apple are certainly going to put more eyes on VR in general and hopefully that means more games, but from what I’ve heard talking to alot of apple diehards i know is that this just doesn’t interest alot of the older generation. My aunt will pretty much buy anything with an apple logo just because its apple and shes heavy into their ecosystem, but she doesn’t care about this headset at all, in fact she didn’t even know that apple was even making a VR headset until I asked her if she was getting one. She said shed rather just use her mac since it wont give her headaches. I’m sure apple will do well with this eventually but i just dont see mass adoption by the geneartions of older adults that actually has the 3500 bucks to buy this, any average millenial or below person will look at the price and features of this compare it to the quest 3, which is only a minor step back in terms of what the device seems to do. and for 3000 dollars less. the younger gen love vr but they dont have that kinda cash to spend on something that cant fully replace their work pc. i think the only way apple beats meta in terms of mass adoption is to heavily undercut meta or make insane next level gaming experiences. META have almost 100 percent market share in the headset market and they own almost have of the current VR specific game studios. I just dont see how apple competes in the long term without pumping insane loads of extra money into games and marketing.
@XAirForce
December 31, 2023 at 3:07 am
Wild girl. I can’t speak loud, my voice is gone from partying last night.😂🎉 You would probably be fun to be around tonight. What I am excited about is they said they’re going into the gaming market now with their hardware so there’s some possibility by version two they’re heavily thinking about gaming with the headset also. There may not be a huge amount of money to be made in the simulation world but there’s a decent amount and if it’s easy to use, there will be even more people. If they can get the Vision Pro 2 down to the size and weight of the big screen beyond, then we’re talking. They can drop the whole eye thing on the front screen to save money and weight. They can give us a vinyl application, pack with different sets of eyes to put on the front of are VR headset 😂

There is a severe limitation towards the inability in using Vision Pro outside. This comes across to me as a work/enterprise focused product. It just doesn’t make sense to spend $3.5k for entertainment.
Also, mass adoption would likely occur if they created an AR spectacles version that is water proof. Call it… ‘Apple Vision’ (without the ‘Pro’).
