I’m currently on my Xs max 256gb and really happy with it.

Dylan Power I’m have the X 256GB and really had no reason to Upgrade to the 11 Pro. My iPhone X performs just as fast I compared both in the Apple Store for hours and found very little difference. So I’m waiting for the iPhone 12

The SE is not worth it imo I would just get an older iPhone X or XS.

    • Farm Ninja

      May 12, 2020 at 5:14 pm

Bill For people like me, we want a smaller phone with no Face ID that can fit in a pocket. The OG SE was the perfect size. It is faster than an XR as well.

    • Bill

      May 12, 2020 at 5:56 pm

Farm Ninja Go buy a flip phone lol The question is how tight are your pants bro because the 5.8 iPhone models are just as compacted. Stop justifying Apple selling old phones with one new part.

I think the better comparison is between the SE & X R/ 11

    • Lexy Savvides

      May 12, 2020 at 4:27 pm

Sure, in terms of price, you’re right! We’ve already done that in Patrick’s original SE review!

    • R Snr

      May 12, 2020 at 6:21 pm

Lexy Savvides nah these 2 phones it’s kind of pointless. The deeper dive would be needed for the SE versus the standard 11.

    • Edly E

      May 13, 2020 at 3:42 am

Do the iPhone 11s front facing camera capture a much wider angle when the phone is horizontal compared to the SE?

My vote is YES! Take some day shots, night shots, portraits, burst photos, slo mo video, time lapse video, action video, etc… Give it a workout!

  9. David Oh

    May 12, 2020 at 4:41 pm

Well it makes sense that in some cases the iphone se would run faster than a pro because they both have the same cpu and you’re asking the chip to render a smaller lower resolution screen on the se vs the pro. So of course it may seem to load faster. Ram mainly matters when it comes to keeping your apps open in the background. If you don’t use too many apps at the same time, you’re not going to feel a huge difference between the two phones.

Enough said. everybody knows the iphone Se is a good iphone and a good buy. everbody knows its the phone for almost everyone and everybody knows its so cheap for an iphone.

    • ItzGreytonic X

      May 12, 2020 at 9:37 pm

Just2LetYouKnow no, ur wrong about the everyone part. Also its not a good buy when their are better options out there. U can get an iPhone xr for the same price which is a better phone, also u can get the iphone 11 for refurnished at a good price. The iphone se is pathetic, apple put no effort in it

    May 12, 2020 at 5:05 pm

You would have to be dense to pay so much more for the pro.

But, Apple customers are usually dense, so…

    • EZ CLAP

      May 12, 2020 at 6:11 pm

Adam Bernard the pro is a flagship, just because they can afford it doesn’t mean they are dense.

Lexy, thanks for putting this video together for us. I have the SE and quite frankly for the price, it is a decent phone. I have the 128GB version. Battery life is ok I’m not a gamer so for me, the battery lasts a good full day. I have a 64W charger and using that with the SE to charge from 10-15% to about 75% takes around 45 minutes. After that, battery charge is very slow as obviously Apple does not want to over charge the battery.

Camera is actually quite good for daytime shots. Video and 4K outstanding. Night time or low lighting shots are poor (coming from a Pixel 3a) which has really excellent images for night time shots.

The SE however has some things up its sleeve. I went ahead and downloaded two Cam apps for low and evening images. One called NeuralCam ($2.99) the other NightCap also for $2.99. Both do a good job with some tweaks so, I do not feel it’s necessary to spend $300 more for the 11 that has this option built in. If I am going to do the perfect night images, I will do that with a standard camera.

So Lexy, there you go. Some input from a new Apple user. Thanks.

I got my wife the iPhone SE, she doesn’t do 4K video, or a photographer. Perfect. Fits her old case too, and either product is worth about $4, so why give the big guy more money for a device that just works. Budget is good.

They should just improve the camera quality and size of the phone on the se.

I just wish for an iPhone with 11 Pro feature on a 5s body. 😔 I’ll get it no matter how expensive it is. 🙏🏻

    • Laura Gomez Lovato

      May 13, 2020 at 11:37 pm

Mercy Romin same here im still on the old se and its sO good, works perfectly, great battery live and good photos but an iphone 11 pro in an iphone 5 body is🤩🤩🤩

  33. George P

    May 13, 2020 at 11:33 am

Speaking in an aussie accent and stating the SE will cost $400 it’s only somewhat logical to think its $400aud. But no.. It’s $400usd which equates to over $700aud. Maybe you should mention that. Just my thought

  39. J Preston

    May 13, 2020 at 2:24 pm

TouchID and price are the only selling features of the SE. I wish they’d offer more legit phones with touchID.
