Just buy them all, switch them around depending on your mode.

  2. @russianhomecat3313

    September 11, 2025 at 5:36 pm

It would be a game changer at 699.

  3. @ballroomdru

    September 11, 2025 at 5:41 pm

Not enough comments about the base 17 and the Air having SLOW USB DATA SPEED. If you transfer files or videos regularly the Pro series or the Pro Max are your only choices. Also, the camera and battery on the Air are suspect until tested.

  4. @davesilver5493

    September 11, 2025 at 5:46 pm

I wouldn’t buy a phone without a case so ultra thin is not in my focus.

  5. @davesilver5493

    September 11, 2025 at 5:50 pm

You failed to mention the pro supports 8k.

I’m getting the orange apple pro max 2tb. I did consider the air but I want the top of the line one.

Bought series 10 watch because when you look at it. The difference between 10/11 is minute.

  8. @watchcommander2012

    September 11, 2025 at 6:02 pm

The Air just doesn’t excite me yes it’s thin but then when you want realistic battery life you have to add the battery pack which makes it chunky. And didn’t they get rid of titanium on the pros because of getting overheated.

  9. @itachiuchiha-bl5wv

    September 11, 2025 at 6:20 pm

It’s easy: pro for content creators…air is for enthusiasts or multiple phone users…for the rest of 99.999% population, go for the base model…

    September 11, 2025 at 6:24 pm

I am soooo underwhelm, but my trusty iPhone Xs Max is long on the tooth. How much for a Pixel 10? (Just wondering…)

  11. @perhapsme988

    September 11, 2025 at 6:27 pm

I have a 16e so not getting a new one yet.

HOWEVER, if I had to, I’d choose Pro model.

The GPU performance is now boosted by 40% with same number of cores. It’s not just a new chip but a new hardware neural processing and link ADDED to give the GPU such jump in performance.

Apple claims it is as fast as MacBook Pro chips. WOW in an iPhone.

The Pro phones will be an AI beast and literally a game changer. Serious and heavy game playing will now be possible with these phones. And likely new M chips coming up will have similar game playing capability boost for Mac.

iPad Mini will have the same A19 Pro chip with same gaming prowess boost.

If this differentiation of A chips continue in future generations, it’d be interesting. But I guess after a couple of generations, there wouldn’t be such.

The Pro models are the ones in my assessment for those want to upgrade.

I look forwards to the new Macs and iPad Mini with similar GPU enhancements.

Air this year then wait for 20th anniversary

  16. @adrianahg4963

I really don’t get why not needing to rotate your phone to take a horizontal photo is such a big feature 😅 it’s really not that hard lol

  17. @icymayne

    September 11, 2025 at 7:56 pm

I went with the air 512gb this will be my last phone until the 3rd gen air because im fine with one camera and no cool vaper chamber last year phone didn’t even have a cool whatever chamber and they did just fine

  18. @MarlonCain-wu7wf

    September 11, 2025 at 7:56 pm

I’m downgrading from the 16 Pro Max to the Air. I don’t need the speakers, I’ve got AirPod Pros and a pair AirPod Max, so I’ve got no need for an any speakers. One camera is enough for me as well.
The battery is enough too. I’ve already got a charging brick if I need it.

  19. @SterlingSigurdsen

    September 11, 2025 at 8:06 pm

I’ll save everyone the hassle. Only upgrade if your phone is a 10,11,12, or 13. Otherwise it’s the same bs reguetated again. Watches same thing, don’t bother unless you own a really old watch. Most people barely use the features on their devices to make the upgrade worth it. I think we are at a point that they could slow down the new models and actually spend time innovating new features that actually makes sense.

  20. @kishalayray6264

I had my fill with Apple. Finally swicthing to Samsung

  21. @CarterLeung-h5b

Less is more. iPhone Air, you get less but pay more.

  22. @joshuastuller7191

    September 11, 2025 at 8:46 pm

The iPhone error is a horrible idea for us here in Florida. Chat GPT says base model will be fine for me. I was looking to justify getting the pro.

  23. @nextlife2230

    September 11, 2025 at 8:51 pm

    I’m buying both

  24. @M.HgamingHD

    September 11, 2025 at 9:07 pm

Its not a hard choice. People will choose between 17 and 17 Pro’s. Air will flop.

  25. @jbradkilpatrick

    September 11, 2025 at 9:11 pm

The Pro is so unlike Apple. I can’t believe this design came from Apple.

  26. @Gilberto-v3k

    September 12, 2025 at 8:31 am

I am staying with my iPhone 13 until I see hands on reviews

  27. @plsnvlogs

    September 12, 2025 at 8:52 am

Just buy a Vivo x200 pro which is far superior and cheaper.

  28. @jesserosenbaum

    September 12, 2025 at 9:29 am

In my humble opinion, the air is a prelude to a future foldable. Being able to move most internals to the plateau while creating a rigid and thin phone is step one.

As someone who owns an iPhone 15 Pro Max, with my use case and needs, I’ll pass on this year’s models.

However, the one thing that piques my interest is the addition of Bluetooth 6 to the pro line. As a music lover, I use a wired set of headphone for focused playback sessions to get hi-res playback. If Apple finally adds some hi-res wireless codecs that would be a welcome upgrade that Android has enjoyed for a while now with codecs like LDAC. I’d love to see them unlock it via firmware upgrades and then all of their higher end headphones and earbuds gain hi-res wireless playback.

  29. @dz_morteza4880

    September 12, 2025 at 10:23 am

The orange one looks so messy.

  30. @jplandrieux3623

I have an issue of choice between iPhone air and iPhone 17 pro. So I will choose iPhone 17.

  31. @carlosdbz1

    September 12, 2025 at 11:01 am

Take the iPhone air to a concert, good luck doing telephoto pictures 😂

  32. @ravipro

    September 12, 2025 at 11:17 am

iphone 17 is great but wish there was a Plus size and Air can’t be a replacement for Plus size

  33. @Pussytats

    September 12, 2025 at 11:19 am

All media post first day air introduction including mkbhd and others mention on their videos that it’s AIR and not 17 AIR lol apple must’ve given them all notices to not call them that. thanks ijustine and others!

  34. @darkwoodmovies

    September 12, 2025 at 11:33 am

I need a slightly thicker Air with 3 cameras and a top speaker. You know, what the Pro should be.

  35. @puddingstar2340

    September 12, 2025 at 12:37 pm

Need to wait iPhone 17 Plus 🤣

  36. @donpatisson

    September 12, 2025 at 1:12 pm

When I see what the base 17 is capable and the mediocrity of 99.9% of the « content » creators, the base model does it by far!

  37. @donpatisson

    September 12, 2025 at 1:19 pm

    Apple is so clever!
The orange design is meant to stand out, to show « hey, I have the latest/best/most expensive Apple phone » and even forces you to go to the max since it’s not available as base model.
Few real professionals have a reason to chose the PRO model.

  38. @barbnd1512

    September 12, 2025 at 1:47 pm

Waiting for reviews on iphone air. I don’t use the camera on the 15 pro to it’s fullest potential, so the air might be a perfect fit for me. (Maybe)

  39. @martinspedding4210

    September 12, 2025 at 2:14 pm

The choice is easy don’t buy any of these products. Buy superior products from other companies. This is just an Apple catchup release selfies are for losers

  40. @heelbeavans01

    September 12, 2025 at 2:28 pm

The iPhone 17 is great, the air is cool but I love the pro phones too.

  41. @ADinoGamerYT

    September 12, 2025 at 3:00 pm

This bro doesn’t even understand the apple lineup

  42. @richmarmon7223

    September 12, 2025 at 3:01 pm

Well, I have a 14 Pro Max that I’m still satisfied with. May not upgrade until I can’t get software updates. Like you, I’m interested in seeing the reviews and seeing them in a store. I’m not in a hurry since Apple Intelligence isn’t fully there yet, especially Siri. It’ll be interesting to see how the Air will evolve over time.

  43. @pops99

    September 12, 2025 at 3:08 pm

A soft aluminium case over much harder titanium, reduced battery size, lousy color selection and once again a bunch of promises on things still coming, this sure doesn’t seem like a winner to me? The spin about heat is just a way of hiding their cost reduction efforts. We have tried the thin phones unsuccessfully and moved on.

  44. @Ronnieleec

    September 12, 2025 at 4:12 pm

I agree. I need reviews and hands on. I have a 12 and can get whatever. The Pro could be overkill.

  45. @pasos22

    September 12, 2025 at 4:26 pm

Easy, don’t buy an Iphone. The Air – haha – is about 1mm – one millimeter – thinner than iphone 6 a decado ago. It has no argument like when Macbook Air was launched. That was a sensation. I’m so disappointed in Apple but then again its no surprise. They haven’t done a great product since Jobs. But, most Iphone users will just buy a new one when the old one dies. They are afraird they can’t figure out how to use an Android.

  46. @AnimalTalesz

  47. @arashamiri9622

    Another failure by Apple.

  48. @pjdexter168

    September 12, 2025 at 5:19 pm

Apple admitted they want customers confused over the the Air and the other models. They don’t want you confused over whether to buy an iPhone, they’re shifting your decision psychologically to which iPhone.

  49. @CometoJesus2025

    Apple garbage

  50. @edwardbroadnaxjr2592

I’ll sum it up in one word…orange!

  52. @ThatAnotherChris

  53. @enadizikibs

New blood new feeling no max for me this year .. I’m going air

  54. @LeeLong

    September 13, 2025 at 6:48 am

Pro all the way. Battery life on that slim jim is bound to trail far behind. Plus, the camera limitations of the Air are an absolute no sale for me.

  55. @vn9528

    September 13, 2025 at 10:13 am

Good one 👍 Thanks for your insights. Glad my 15 Pro Max still has another year with me. But honestly, those picking up the iPhone Air this year could feel bad next year when the dual-speaker upgrade arrives over the single speaker setup.

  56. @DWH-ln2jk

    September 13, 2025 at 12:10 pm

As a pro user, Get the AIR…. it’s new. You can always go back to the pro with iPhone 18 or 19 . Enjoy ! Life is about new experiences.

  57. @yabito

    September 13, 2025 at 12:59 pm

i am surprised that apple did not change vapor chamber to “cloud ventilation” or “magic coldness lake” or any other hyperbolic nonsense

  58. @masoodahmad4401

    The engorged plateau 😅

    September 13, 2025 at 1:44 pm

Only two choices left: iPhone 17 for most people and for content creator and people who take a lot of photos and videos, iPhone 17 Pro.

  61. @bridget-hicks

    September 13, 2025 at 5:12 pm

Pro Max for me ordered ❤❤❤❤❤❤

  62. @SweetSpot909

    September 13, 2025 at 6:59 pm

I would go air but I wash too much media and movies to switch since the Air only has 1 speaker. The pro speakers are amazingly better.

  63. @Beyondthe_stethoscope

    September 13, 2025 at 9:00 pm

    Apple has gone backwards 😂😂😂😂😂

  64. @BYDonBermudaGrassCentral

  65. @LUC1F3R14NZ

    September 13, 2025 at 9:52 pm

Im getting the base 17, everything that i need is there. Idc the screen size just the cam, refresh rate, battery and the chip is enough for me 😅

  66. @ecphotographer

    September 14, 2025 at 12:06 am

Stop it with the pop zoom (in and out). It jarring and amateur. (Fair editorial, btw).

  67. @BrandyMWard

    September 14, 2025 at 12:45 am

I ordered the iPhone 17 pro max 1tb silver and the exact same thing in blue for my daughter

  68. @Babyhifi

    September 14, 2025 at 1:19 am

Air will sell like hot cakes cos it’ll have good battery. And girls will love it.

  69. @xuxon24

    September 14, 2025 at 4:59 am

I don’t know what is the obsession of content creators with the Air model I think that people have been happier with the base model than that one.

    🤔

  71. @davidd3063

  72. @sun131089

Wait for the fold start saving from today

  73. @JohnMcLovin-xq3qg

    September 14, 2025 at 4:14 pm

The Air is the only one you can pre-order and get on launch day. Not a good sign.

  74. @AnandaGarden

    September 14, 2025 at 5:45 pm

They are so cool. Sigh, I have to go industrial, so it’s the Pro. I talk maybe 12 minutes per month but take lots of pics and vids for work. With Adobe Project Indigo, the iPhone has finally become a valuable, efficient tool for making publishable photos without a lot of post-processing. When it gets dark and there’s movement, only mirrorless will come through (Canon R6).

  75. @baltasarngumungumueyang7437

    September 14, 2025 at 5:59 pm

I like the iPhone air, I think It rhymes with MacBook Air. but I don’t see myself buying a phone that cost more than a MacBook Air, or an iPad Pro. I will wait until the refurnished price of the iPhone Air drops to perhaps $400. until then I will use my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

  76. @morganvon5664

    September 14, 2025 at 8:01 pm

I didn’t need to wait. I ordered the Air on friday. I’m trading in a 13 Pro Max that was too heavy and bulky. I don’t use the camera that much and I have Beats fit pro for audio – so the lack of stereo speaker won’t bother me. Short of a folding phone – this is a perfect upgrade for me. Can’t wait!
