Does the type of water, salty or fresh have an influence on the resistance ??

MSC TheGamer yes because saltwater degrades the adhesive

Why not add a Samsung Note and HUAWEI P30 Pro and other high / top end / premium phones to the test?

There’sactually a huge controversy going on rn with the iPhone11 series and their glass being scratched so easily. Google ” Scratchgate ” and you’ll see what I mean. We’ve had so many customers come in this month with their iPhone 11 all scratched up demanding refunds. Personally, I think it’s an issue with gorilla glass 6. My Galaxy s10+ in the first month of owning it got so many microscratches. Im talking like 100 scratches or more just from taking it in and out of my pocket. Never have dropped it or brought it around salt water. It even has a liquid glass screen protector on it. At first it bothered me so much, but I’ve gotten over it. GG 6 does scratch way too easy tho, and the 11 series is dealing with it majorly atm.

If you drop your phone from waist height into the water that would be better i guess because the drop would impact the phone internals which might have different result
