Those stickers look like fun but they make a mess off the UI in iMessage. I hope they adres this for the release. Who want stickers to stick over de messaging?! 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have the public beta on my backup phone which is a 13 Mini. The features are truly underwhelming. I think iOS has gotten so mature that there really aren’t many new features that can be added. The stand-by mode is fine with a phone that has always on display, but on my iPhone 13 it really isn’t that useful.

    • Garrett G

      July 16, 2023 at 11:55 pm

It’s all small stuff Yes like heart shapes when you heart hand on FT or iMessage Overhaul. Or Active Widgets & Live Activities. All Small Stuff. I think SOON We’re Getting a BIG BIG UPDATE. Like iOS 18 or 19 or 20 COULD be what iOS 7 was. (at the time) POLARIZING. Whether you liked it or not. (I did) it’s pretty much stuck the whole time. We’ll See How Apple, Vision OS & iOS evolves for the next generation.

    • Pat Gervasio

      July 17, 2023 at 4:13 pm

@Garrett G I’ve been saying that for the past 7 or 8 years. But it’s been all small incremental updates since iOS 7. Truly boring yet everyone likes to say how great it is. Snooze fest.

    • Pat Gervasio

      July 17, 2023 at 4:17 pm

That’s Apple tying to get us to upgrade our phones to 14 pro or 15.

  17. Joshua Pingley

    July 16, 2023 at 11:22 am

This “update” is SO unimpressive and underwhelming. But after 17 iterations I can’t say I’m surprised by that.

  18. Perpetual Preponderer

It was painful watching you trying to reach the upper right corner with your thumb while holding the phone single-handed.

I wish they made a CarPlay mode like standby mode so no need those unnecessary 3rd party screens…

Tragic yalll gotta wait for the iOS 17 to get basic features.. I’m coming from the s21 ultra and I switched to the iPhone 13 max. And again its tragic none of these “” new “” feature…which honestly isn’t much knew.. Y’all going the right directions but it’s almost a decade too late to call it new lol.. But it’s welcome changes.. But sad that the dynamic isla cant be used on the 13 max.. And this wi be my first and possible my last phone.. Everything everybody was talking about iPhone is hype or a feature that is shallow lol.. Let’s see how they’ll keep changing things..hopefully y’all keep working on more customization on your phone.. Your phone should be users not similar like the 5th iPhone or the 20th or100th iPhone you’ve seen

I am running the public beta on my iPhone 14 pro max and it’s working really well. A couple of small bugs, but all apps work fine, not major issues, and battery life has been pretty much the same as iOS 16. Really liking the improvements to Apple Reminders, as I run my life out of Apple Reminders. Also LOVE interactive widgets. The ability to check off reminders right from my Home Screen is really nice.

    July 17, 2023 at 1:20 pm

Stickers worked for 1 day on my public iOS 17 beta. Since then it’s just a black screen when you select stickers. The wallpaper disappears everyday and you have to switch your country region from USA to anything to get it back then switch back to United States.
