Remember when presidents couldn’t ethically have business ties. They were suppose to work for the people. Whatever happen to that policy.🤦🤦

Did she really complain that Nvidia wasn’t funded by the CHIPS act?
Yes, because they don’t create chips!

at one point AMD Nvidia applied for Chip act for research. Even though they don’t make chips, they still have testing RD facilities on things like 3D stacking, packaging, and some other higher level designs.

6:00 nvidia doesn’t manufacture anything… and doesn’t support a supply chain that multiplies jobs… TSMC is already onshoring without tariffs (which would be paid for dollar per dollar by Amazon and Google?)… not sure i understand the points being made

Summary for chill guys 😌
US Chip Production and Incentives for EVs
– Intel has secured a $7.9 billion federal grant to boost U.S. chip production, funding projects in Arizona, New Mexico, and Oregon (02:01).
– California is proposing state incentives for EV buyers, but Tesla’s models might be excluded (00:47).
– The CHIPS Act faces criticism for not being effective in job creation, while companies like NVIDIA, which didn’t receive funding, thrive in the chip industry (05:51).
– Concerns are growing about potential tariffs on TSMC, which could impact NVIDIA’s production and raise chip prices (06:58).
– NVIDIA is expected to face increased competition, with AMD, Intel, and even Amazon developing chips (08:08).
– Tesla’s stock is trading at 141 times future earnings, sparking investor profit-taking amid post-election optimism (09:27).
– Xiaomi plans to mass-produce its own chip by 2025, intensifying global competition (11:04).
Potential Tariffs and Tech Competition
– President-elect Donald Trump has threatened additional tariffs, which could disrupt the tech sector (12:01).
– Tariffs are being used as leverage to extract policy concessions from trading partners like Canada, Mexico, and China, potentially impacting supply chains (12:25).
– The auto sector would be hit hard, as many vehicles cross borders multiple times before being sold (14:49).
– The U.S.-China tech trade would suffer, as electronics like laptops and smartphones were previously untaxed, and supply chains haven’t shifted out of China yet (15:59).
– CEOs may anticipate policy carveouts or rollbacks, recognizing the major disruptions tariffs would cause to businesses and the economy (17:27).
It’s quite a long one, but it’s worth the read.

See, my opinion is between Tesla & BYD. I believe engineers @ BYD considers Their Economy in their designs. My opinion if you follow me. The problem/disposition on engineers here at America they feel the more money they make, the more the economy will love it overall. Now its not all engineers in America, but most top companies do this… I like to think that if we keep the economy here or the global economy in play when designing with the consumers in mind at all times, then exacuting designs, we will become aware more and build better efficient products that work better. But this is my opinion @ Digitation Implements DBA 😊
