What the US needs is a US Naval air fighter with a longer range than 600 miles.

      That’s already been awarded.
Lockheed dropped out of the naval airpower manned 6th gen contest a long while ago.
They previously delivered the ramge requirements they were asked to do. Now the 6th gen projects want 1000+ mile range on almost all new options.

The Boeing design for both the f47 and the FAXX will hit those benchmarks. If Lockheed had wo n, they would also hit that benchmark or they wouldn’t get picked.

Amazing work guys, let’s try to keep the cost per unit under $100mn this time.
US soil isn’t getting attacked physically right now, it’s getting attacked in the bond market.
Consider for a moment that it isn’t Russia subs that are going to sink America — it’s debt.
