I’m a doctor, I make $360k a year, I had Z fold 3 and then 4 and then I went back to Apple. I had Nokia 3310 when I was in high school. My family all have iPhones. I have 13 Pro Max and I want Duo to be able to go back to folding phones. You think I don’t know that Duo is not the first foldable lol? It’s the first Apple foldable – that will allow me for the first time to go foldable while staying Apple and being able to FaceTime my family and within Apple ecosystem. People are not idiots, it’s just you are projecting your insecurities to others. To me you sound like an idiot (from Latin idiota – eg not knowing things) that repeats the same mantra posting comments under videos of people who are happy for their Duo. Why are you an idiot? For starters I know more than you (not only in medicine), I have more money than you, I know ore languages than you (English is my 3rd language), I know why people like Apple, I know why Apple is successful, I know how money works, simply put I’m way more superior, and I can see your anger lol that eats you from inside. Not a fan of the form factor. I have the pixel 10 fold and I mostly use it closed anyway. I use it open but for quick stuff always closed. I think most people will use it closed but they don’t know that yet. And that form factor will become annoying closed

I live on a tiny island in the middle of the Arabian Gulf, and I got my Duo delivered to my home within one hour of the official global release .. all while there’s a full-blown war going on in the region. Surreal times.

To be honest, after using the phone for a day, if I had a preorder for January I would go back and wait overnight. This is worth it. Best and most novel iPhone since the original. So many ways to use it that are not like other flip phones.

I was going to go to the 5th ave store to wait in line, thankfully my wife talked me out of it. By chance I passed by the upper east side store and asked if they had any in stock. I was able to do a trade I and got my white duo 512g on lunch day, no lines, in and out in less than 30 minutes 😄

Huawei launched a foldable phone with this same form factor six months ago, so I don’t get why so many people are so excited about the release of the “iPhone Duo.” It’s as if people think Apple invented the foldable phone—I don’t understand it at all.
