I just bought my fourth EV and I love then and will never go back to an ICE vehicle again. However let me just point out that the average “road trip” that anyone takes is between 200-500 miles with 300 being what most people do. I’ve driven from DC to Cleveland only having to stop twice and by the time I finished using the restroom and getting something to eat my charger session was done. It’s a 7 hour drive so I would’ve stopped twice anyway if only for a restroom visit so it wasn’t any different than road tripping in a gas vehicle. Also with the price of gas, especially diesel, even the somewhat high cost of fast charging it’s about the same but overall it’s still significantly cheaper because charging at home for everyday use is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. Simply put, o have never once had range anxiety and with the improved infrastructure it’s even easier.

However seeing as how I now know by your reply that you are a product of NCLB and haven’t been taught actual writing skills then I can ignore whatever you have to say.
However once you can write something that’s fully flushed out then maybe I can answer your question.

Even just comparing EV road trip last year vs this year. Last year no stress charging gm vehicle at tesla superchargers – but medium speeds like 100-125kw
This year way more networks and chargers – didn’t use Tesla once, charged 250-350kw and intentionally only chose those 55c/kw or less. Improving very quickly!!!

Charging infrastructure is so vastly improved now to the point that road tripping an EV is no longer an issue, this video is spot on. I’ve owned EVs since 2016 and have seen this first hand, unlike the ICE trolls that always comment on these videos with little to no experience or facts.

There really doesn’t need to be stress. You learn how far your petrol car can go, you learn how far your electric car can go. Range anxiety is exaggerated. The technology is still new and we’re only now seeing cars reach 450/500 miles in a charge. Mine gets 350. My last one got around 170. But it can be so much cheaper.

There are one million gas pumps in the US, and over 3 billion electrical circuits just in homes in the US any of them will work. Finding gasoline and diesel is stressful. The locations of gas stations is spotty at best.
