Tax corporations and oligarchs more, working class people less. We need universal basic income.

Why do we need Universal Basic Income? Did you not see what happened during covid 19? Millions of people were perfectly happy to sit at home on Netflix all day and waste every moment of their lives.

Universal Basic Income is an appalling idea.

More father’s in households, more discipline within those households, increase police presence in all affected areas, no more catch and release, focus on your homeless and not illegal immigrants, work hard, set goals, and strive for better.

@Matthew Ted talks have become less of a foundational scientific commons for people to speak about the future and scientific discoveries. Now it’s a sham of people who talk about opinionated ideas with no foundation. I assume you have a brain to understand that. ( I hope )

Sorry, i am not taking advice from someone who wears glasses like they are the woke minister of the community. No matter how right she is. I refuse to listen to any debate from a liberal think tank. I wasted 40 yrs of my life in believing the far left until they started with the gender crap. Not happening. Enough is Enough.

@Matt Bergamin thankyou buddy. Well wishes to you and your family too. I’m educating them about this bc they are old enough now. I’m not gonna be one of those parents that are too afraid to have this discussion at home, that’s my duty as a father. 🙏 one day after I’m gone they will say dad was right all along. That’s all I can ask for. Protect them from the evil in this world. Bless you.

@Sid My pleasure, the best thing you can do as a father is pass on all the useful knowledge you have gathered over your years and prepare them for the real world. So many will try to influence and affluence their young minds, they need a solid foundation given and built by their parents to deter that

These days Philanthropy is a tool the ultra rich and powerful use to hide and transfer money while appearing to look generous and caring.

    • bj0rn

      June 28, 2023 at 2:57 pm

Yup. They claim to give, yet their philanthropy fund keeps growing. It is almost as though it is just an investment fund with makeup on.

@bj0rn well I believe there are good and bad billionaires . I don’t like generalizations. That like saying “white people are terrible “, or “ men are terrible”… really? All of them? Ok.

    • RFish

      June 30, 2023 at 4:21 pm

@mkhud50n respect your opinion . Just agree to disagree . There are good and bad of anything .

    • mkhud50n

      June 30, 2023 at 5:21 pm

@RFish most of us know that already. Like you said it’s a generalization. Point is this is what they are generally doing these days and ignoring it because “not all of them” only lets it continue. Of course it’s not all of them but definitely most. It’s built into the tax code.

This problem goes further than philanthropy. Allocation of research funding suffers the same problem. In effect, important topics are neglected and lots of resources are wasted on helping donors shift demand, regulation and legislation in their favor.

Feminism forced women into the workforce. Bureaucratic red tape creates jobs for them to do. It’s all fake, clown world postmodern neomarxism.

She doesn’t understand because she’s looking too closely at the problem. It’s like staring at a painting from 1 inch away.

All of this is the bureaucracy perpetuating more bureaucracy to create something approximating productive for women with no skills to do – so that they can be taxed and not make big families.

Decentralization and deregulation is the answer. Then a return to truth and realistic gender roles.

It’s a shame that this platform is wasted by trash speakers like this. No, banks don’t get together and agree not to give loans to black people. Loans are given out based on credit scores which are not determined by race. This fantasy of systemic oppression is a self fulfilling prophecy. Why bother trying if the game is rigged from the start?

Most NGOs are staffed by the pretentious and incapable who don’t know how to budget, research, or spending appropriately. That’s why they’re always in a funding crisis. These pretentious people don’t have the skills manage a NGOs much less their own lives. They themselves spend like crazy due to their own selfish reasons. The majority of NGOs are failed fraudulent organizations that are a tool for the rich to funnel money to look good among others. It’s such a massive corruption shame, and the NGO leaders are great at manipulation and crying. No offence peace and love for all 🤗 ♥

  22. Goodgreat Freeforever

    June 28, 2023 at 10:35 pm

I can bet that that 200 million was not spent correctly or efficiently and completely mismanaged not going to those who need it the most. It’s easy to get up on stage as she did to say all this, but she hasn’t provided any proof whatsoever for all she claims. I hope I’m wrong but usually as experience has taught me, these types of people are far worse than most everyone. They’re usually incapable, don’t have a self control mechanism when given donations, lack good plans and follow thru. Someone prove me wrong I dare u. No offence peace and love for all 🤗 ♥

Today, I just got to know the idea of philanthropy in another edifying mode. It should not be a means to an end.

The idea of trusting the community to make the funding decision is a great dynamics that any selfish or won’t make.
