It is actually a good browser. I didn’t do any of that making it default stuff and got the bing invite, though.

The problem is that Bing sucks. So why would I use this tool as a starting point to find out the information I need. Do I need some sort of a artificial mind to accompany my life? If what I’ve seen so far is an indication then it has attitude but lacks life. Programmed to converse but that’s not intelligence just response algorithms. Intelligence learns, adapts and changes as it matures. Tweeks by programmers is a poor substitute for a true mind that wants to learn.

Are they planning on having this as a subscription model? But thanks for showing this! Wanted to try Bing Search AI for a while now. Anyone who has any thoughts on Bluewillow? Is it any good?

Does Bing Chat have an active feedback loop in chat-user interaction? Are those Like and Dislike buttons of any use? Just curious.

    • ThePizzaMan

      March 15, 2023 at 2:24 pm

      >Is those Like and Dislike buttons of any use?
Yes. They’re meant to help train the AI. Thumbs Up means that you liked the response, so the AI learns that said response is good response.
Thumbs Down means that you did not like the response, so the AI Learns that said response is bad and therefore, should be avoided in the future.

It’s like training a dog, treats means good behavior, water spray means bad behaviour.

Yes it does. You can ask for specific requests and it will do it. For example I requested some keyword tags and it gave me a bunch of words inside of a paragraph. So, I asked it to display the keywords in a list format so I could more easily cut and paste and it did. It will reformat answers and omit things you don’t want to see.

If they just made it open to everyone on all browsers they’d take Googles search share. But instead they are making it really hard to get on. I try and use Microsoft Edge and it says my account is used elsewhere. Its crazy! They are losing their chance to get dominance here. People don’t want to jump through hoops to try something they don’t know they’ll even love yet.

Did Microsoft just copy the ChatGPT chat bot demo and past in on Bing? 😂

The demo chat Bot is still working so people can play with that for now until Microsoft releases it by default to bing.

      Are you using IE?
Keep up. Bing AI is more advanced that ChatGPT. They are using upgraded ChatGPT which they own 49% share of.

People always jumps bandwagon, hear me out:

This AI thing is amazing and people are still like “I can’t use Bing or Edge” like they have never tried it but have an opinion about it because other people told them that Edge is bad. Don’t dismiss anything until you have tried it yourself. I have been using Edge and it’s much better than Chrome in every possible ways and now it’s just got a massive booster pack that Google doesn’t have.

Looks like Microsoft opened up Bing Chat more widely today. Did a quick check and it still asks you to join the wailist but you will get access faster than I did. 🤖
