The irony of this story posted to a platform owned by Google. At least Apple and Tesla (seem) to be far better than daddy Google.

Never trust Elon. Like Trump, he only cares about himself and growing his own wealth.

    February 26, 2025 at 6:28 pm

I imagine swasticars and cucktrucks are *very* appealing to pentesters; greys & reds can get a lot of maneuverability through them.

  8. @Emailmesoicanignoreu

    February 26, 2025 at 6:34 pm

0:14 it does not 😂 it’s the most unsafe car on the market bud

  9. @Synplex

    February 26, 2025 at 6:45 pm

Yes it is. Along with many other household items. Most of these companies do not have top-notch security. This info is public. Look into how many house cameras, kid cameras, pet camera companies have been compromised 😞

  10. @Hammyann

The claim that a cop can plug in your Tesla on the side of the road in order to download your data without a search warrant is absolutely ridiculous. What a stupid video.

  14. @timz9862

    February 26, 2025 at 7:03 pm

With a company like this, what’s there guarantee that disabling data sharing actually disables data sharing?

  15. @jasondumb5706

About time we talked about this! If you drive Tesla, ELON HIMSELF knows where you are, what you are doing, where you are going and where you’ve been. ELON HIMSELF will use this data as HE sees fit.

  24. @toddsedlak

    February 26, 2025 at 8:17 pm

Whoever shot/edited this needs to lay off the monster drinks and ditch that oblique close up. Holy crap man, enough with the jump cuts literally every two seconds wide, medium, oblique close up, wide, medium, oblique close up. It’s incredibly distracting.

  25. @seattlekarim964

    February 26, 2025 at 8:20 pm

Bulls**t they don’t keep a history of where you’ve been. Just go see Elon’s X feed where he has shared directly to X his cars locations and history when it suits his needs.

  26. @ThePencilPusher

    February 27, 2025 at 3:09 pm

tesla is definitely most likely spying on you. Just as other car companies are spying on you. However, since tesla is basically a high tech computer on wheels… its probably collecting more.

  27. @Edu-hx9sz

    Boycotting Tesla, everybody should

  29. @Shackleford_Rusty

    February 27, 2025 at 3:50 pm

The wheels of the propaganda machine are turning. It’s interesting to watch this all play out, good luck with your attack. Going forward perhaps don’t be lazy and provide data as proof, and make sure to outline when these telemetry bypasses are manufacturer specific or not.

  30. @theshadowsymphony

    February 27, 2025 at 3:50 pm

Imagine complaining about Tesla privacy while you’re literally holding a camera, a microphone, and a GPS everywhere you go all day long

  34. @pyrho1

    February 27, 2025 at 4:22 pm

I hate this timeline. But thank you for covering this topic. The amount of ways we are being constantly monitored by our own possessions is shocking.

  35. @BennyKleykens

    February 27, 2025 at 4:53 pm

Well, they can monitor all the want : I’ll NEVER drive a Tesla. 😂😂😂

  36. @kriszukowski4530

    February 27, 2025 at 4:53 pm

Do not buy a Tesla, Do not rent Tesla. The company is run by a psychopath.

  37. @kartcopter

    February 27, 2025 at 5:27 pm

The collect of data (even if switched off) can be far more than in case of collision only :

In the legal policy, it is written “when occurs a safety event (e.g. collision, airbag deployment or emergency braking)”.

All is beyond what they want to put in “safety event”, as the “e.g.” is subjective.

For example, they could consider that, based on your statistics of emergency braking, your whole driving is risky and BTW is a “safety event”.

Or that while you do not have fixed an issue alarm (such as a light that need to be changed), your drive is under “safety event”.

    • @kartcopter

      February 27, 2025 at 5:35 pm

Or… even when one of the camera detects a pedestrian or another car too close : it can be considered as a safety event.
Events are both issues and risks of issues.

And Tesla needs to collect data in order to improve the autopilot and develop the full AI driven car, able to make decisions between a collision with a kid or 2 old persons.

  38. @chassmith6778

    February 27, 2025 at 5:30 pm

How about interviews with your political reporters when they break stories?

  39. @andrewrance

    February 27, 2025 at 5:31 pm

Locksmiths spend their days entering buildings that are locked. Yet we’re all still carrying keys around right now.

  40. @Luzgar

    February 27, 2025 at 5:39 pm

My car is incapable of wireless communication of any kind.
    I consider it a feature.

  41. @Luzgar

    February 27, 2025 at 5:41 pm

This is not an electric car thing.
    This is tech industry thing.

Most new cars can do pretty much the same thing.

  42. @Luzgar

    February 27, 2025 at 5:45 pm

    Always reject all cookies.
You have nothing to gain by giving that data away.

  43. @michaeljjensen

    February 27, 2025 at 6:02 pm

Now do a video on all the other car manufacturers that may/are collects and sell your data.

  44. @Luzgar

    February 27, 2025 at 6:06 pm

“Others are also doing it” does not make it OK.

Tesla have obtained a status of leader of innovation in the car market, they are taking the harshest criticism like Apple for phones or John Deere for farming equipments.
They are a leader in the field and setting a bad example.

If they are forced to change course, others will quietly follow.

  45. @AlenMop

    February 27, 2025 at 6:33 pm

The only company that lets you disable collecting data. Other car brands don’t even have an option to disable. Others don’t even tell you on the screen.

  46. @CedroCron

    February 27, 2025 at 6:46 pm

How about Electrical tape over the cameras?

  47. @olmo-c9e

    February 27, 2025 at 6:55 pm

Because O his politics, NEVER buy a Tesla

  48. @firstclass000

    February 27, 2025 at 7:16 pm

The idea that Tesla collecting your data is a huge threat to privacy and security is overstated. If the government wants your information, they’re not going to look at your tesla, your phone is already a personal data vending machine. This video was just made to rack views up for this channel using the current Tesla hate.

  49. @airwolfgunner

    February 27, 2025 at 7:20 pm

This issue seems like 99% fear and drama and 1% concern that something MIGHT happen. Bleh

  50. @RhythmRepertoire

    February 27, 2025 at 7:43 pm

Yeah. Now let’s let Elon completely shape and run the country. What could possibly go wrong?

  51. @jim22444

    February 28, 2025 at 11:58 am

in all honesty a car stays outside mostly and if you care about your privacy that much you would not even be here on youtube because whats more dangerous than your car is your phone that goes into extremely private places and you have no idea if its recording. anything today is a spying device its just people want to focus on tesla

  76. @vulpo

    March 1, 2025 at 7:25 pm

The Mozilla Foundation questioning Tesla’s privacy claims?! That’s hilarious since Mozilla now claims ownership of everything you type into their browser and every mouse click. Maybe as a self-proclaimed global feminist, LGBTQIA+, anti-capitalist crew, committed to fighting Trump and Musk, they just wanted to dump on Tesla.

  77. @frazazzled3633

    March 2, 2025 at 7:38 am

    The video title:
Yes. That is what enemies of our nation do. To top it off, none of that data has helped them to build any vehicle worth it’s selling price. He knows what his handler wants. It is the same thing all of our nation’s enemies want. Just don’t buy anything with his name tied to it. It is that simple.
Why else do you think he sold blue check marks? For quicker easier access.

  88. @interestedinstuff

    March 2, 2025 at 9:38 pm

Extend this idea a touch. Soon, if the Muskrat gets his way, but even other companies, there’ll be robots in a lot of households. Every one of them will have cameras and microphones running constantly. I guess a Tesla is basically a robot. Point is, the level of surveillance we are moving in to will break everyone’s brain if they think about it. And will AI on the rise, and being quite good at segmentation i.e. knowing what it is looking at, processing this vast amount of data will become possible. Do an article on that Wired. Cheers.

  89. @tommoen6775

    March 2, 2025 at 10:30 pm

The last vehicle I would ever own! Squeaks, rattles, just junk, let alone, this invasion of privacy. Dump everything Muskolini! I sent back my StarLink, cancelled X, sold Tesla stock and shorted it. Dump Musk.

  90. @seditt5146

    March 2, 2025 at 11:51 pm

Wow… looking through your videos its clear you guys have become propaganda. F’off . Any of y’all that got a problem with what I just said that goes for you also. Y’alls stupidity for eating up the message is why the message exist in the first place you useful idiots.

  99. @ilmostro16

    March 3, 2025 at 7:04 pm

How different is any of this than all the smartphones we carry, with cameras, GPS data, and microphones?? Everyone is already carrying various smart phones that can do everything Teslas can do, and we are dependent upon trusting Apple and Google and Samsung, etc.

  105. @XanderStoute

    March 4, 2025 at 9:06 am

This feels like outdated tech fear mongering. I’m confident that every tech company collects their users data. It’s the fastest, most efficient way to make tech advancements. It sounds like they’re tech would be able to help solve crimes, prevent future accidents, and create a safer society.

Wearing a facemask in public is easier than “crossing the street every time you see a Tesla car nearby”, AND it helps prevent the spread of germs! (This also goes for many of the other things that people in the comments are bringing up as whataboutism.)
    I call that a win-win.

Wow! What rock have you guys been living under? We’ve known this stuff for years!
Ohhhh…. I get it. This is politically motivated….
Muskman pledged his alleigiance to the Orange man, and now, “mUsK isn’t cOoL anyMore!”
That aside, this is still why I won’t own a vehicle produced before 2002 or thereabouts. No GSM modems, trackers, or anything…

  128. @etl2993

    Can’t trust Musk.

  129. @le_th_

    April 17, 2025 at 5:33 pm

I’ve repeatedly told people that this isn’t a car. It’s a data collection device disguised as an electric car.

The Muskkkrat is a covert narcissist with a hero-complex, and all anyone needs to do to effectively manipulate him is stroke his ego, tell him he’s awesome, and he’ll give them whatever data they want about anyone.

The Muskkkrat is a pathological liar, so you can’t trust him to ever tell the truth.

The real concern is Teslas are collecting data and footage of all of us as they drive by. Every time a tesla drives by a school, a playground, to a child’s sporting event they are parked near.

…and don’t get me started on the Google cars. I’ve been filmed by FOUR DIFFERENT GOOGLE CARS this week of April 15th, 2025…alone…In Berkeley, Emeryville, Oakland, and Alameda California. Each time I turned around, there was ANOTHER Google car with the camera strapped to the top of the cars.
