@joweb1320 dude ai is not in a bubble wake up, there is only a lot of spending because the businesses are in the expanding phase, and the revenue is growing year by year, and the companies can’t actually meet all of the demand that is requested because of a lack of compute, so the spending is justified, give up on waiting for unicorns there is actually a solid business model here

The first rung? I was laid off over 9 weeks ago, along with dozens of others, and none of us can even get interviews. I’m a senior-level professional with over 3 decades in the workforce. Software is essentially cooked. Even if in theory you could land something, how long are they going to pay you to ask an LLM to build something? There’s no real moat anymore. The tech theater on LinkedIn about “coding was never the hard part” is pure nonsense. Typing, sure, but coding is the mental effort needed to plan an implementation around business needs. That’s effectively gone. Yes, AI is actively destroying jobs, and it won’t stop at software. That’s the beta run they need to signal to investors they can pull off white collar replacement.
