Love the concept but $800 up front and then $30/mo plus your labor to grow about $25 of salad greens? I’m out.

Fabulous video as always, Bridgette. But you missed one other problem. This company will not last. Which means in a year or so you’ll lose access to that app, those cute little pods, and assistance when those lights or pumps inevitably fail. Sorry, this isn’t sustainable.

    • #Adulting

      October 6, 2020 at 2:46 pm

You make a good point, curious though, how do you know the company will not last? Is this an opinion or do you have data?

It is not cheap, but at least you know where you greens are coming from and that no chemical were used.
This would have been a very big hit in high density Asian areas where the origin and quality of vegetables is problematic. Too bad for this company… the concept and technology will be copied and sold for 1/3 of the price very soon.

      October 6, 2020 at 6:43 pm

Isn’t there also concerns as to where the seeds come from? Not sure if they have addressed this… I’m not that well versed in all of this, so this is very much a question.

One good thing about COVID is it’s fun seeing people’s actual lives. Cute kid, I love how you involved them in the video and review.

Also, $800 is way too much. Then they want $30 a month for $30 worth of seeds per year? Also, no.
