That add me if perfected will cause a lot of problems with relationships. People pretending to be with other people at certain places.

Umm no. People have to be in the frame to be photographed. You can’t just snap a photo of someone and then add them to your photo. Plus it has to match backgrounds…..😂

    @CNet

The design is basically an iPhone with a camera visor. Its (front) screen looks just like any other Android device.

Not sure if paying an extra $100 for AI features is worth it. In a months time of using the device we will all be bored with it.

Right that’s why I keep my pixel 5
I get sooo bored with new tech so why upgrade

AI good or bad doesn’t bother me as A “feature” or “Perk” with exception to replacing human jobs of course👀 Looks cool and hope it does well for them. Only thing is AI can be a god send or curse with time. Since its still evolving and improving, its a costly gamble.

phones aren’t that hard to use
it’s like people are dumber than ever
anyway I got the 8a for $400 I’m good with that… but the screen definitely could be brighter outside.

  7. @newfnshow031

    August 21, 2024 at 3:25 pm

I’ll add I would never spend $800 on an android phone
$800 is iPhone 15 money. I got $400 tops for Android or I’ll just buy an iPhone at $800

Why is Google releasing features to older Pixel models a negative???

    • @KeeganMcKinney

      August 21, 2024 at 4:39 pm

I think she means that because the new features will be added to older phones; the 9 is not a must get if your just in it for that.

I pre order pixel 9 I’m upgrading from pixel 6a. As for new features on older devices there very few especially for the A Series pixels.

  13. @stephanieduran3364

    August 21, 2024 at 4:22 pm

So what do you about the Samsung 24 camera in the end? The pixel 9 doesn’t get that?

    • @adithyagowda4642

      August 21, 2024 at 5:14 pm

The base model doesn’t, but the pro does

    August 21, 2024 at 4:26 pm

you never talked about Gemini and YouTube where you could ask it? what was she eating in the video and gem and I will tell you and give you a recipe for that. they showed that off at Google’s conference why didn’t you talk about that feature?

  15. @travismayes23

    August 21, 2024 at 4:27 pm

Google says at there conference the camera has a new HDR mode from the grout. they build it for the ground up and they’ve tweaked the software to make it better the camera so it’s supposed to be better with tensor. 4. helping

Why all new android phones looks like an iPhone? 🤯🤯🤯

    • @a1000island

      August 21, 2024 at 6:08 pm

Right the one plus 12 looks just like an iPhone and so does the Galaxy s24 ultra with it’s rectangle build oh and also the pixel pro fold

  17. @kjw-vw6xr

  20. @SteevWho

All Sizzle, No Steak. This is a $599 phone, tops. The reason they are charging the extra here, is to keep that Gemini server running. Spending 20+ minutes of the announcement on Gemini, and running several of the Demos on competitors devices, sort of says what Google thinks of these devices. This is another inferior phone from Google.

    • @a1000island

      August 21, 2024 at 6:07 pm

You thinking Google needs money to keep their own servers running is amazing to me

    • @KapitalElement

      August 21, 2024 at 7:04 pm

Cool. What’s Apples excuse for charging a million dollars for the same phone every year?

    • @liberty0758

      August 21, 2024 at 7:12 pm

@@a1000island if they didn’t need money they wouldn’t need to increase the price of the phone by a $100.

    • @bizmonkey007

      August 21, 2024 at 7:19 pm

Use the phone in person if you can. You might be surprised. People get caught up on the Tensor chip and benchmarks but that doesn’t tell the whole story.

    • @a1000island

      August 21, 2024 at 7:31 pm

@@liberty0758 using that logic the chicken wings at Walmart are using Gemini as well why else would they be charging more

Thank you for reviewing “Pixel 9”, instead of the pro’s as others

  22. @bluesea1769

I prefer AI works like a device assistant, when I grant it permissions it can run through my phone looking something for me or complete tasks I instructed days ago.

  23. @AmericanDrinker

    August 21, 2024 at 7:41 pm

“it’s really good” said the AI regarding coffee 🤦

  24. @sansin6250

    August 21, 2024 at 8:03 pm

I feel these *new” AI features will get old and tired in no time, just like the fancy memojies on iPhones. I don’t know anybody, including my 2 kids and their friends, who use memojies any more. All really useful AI features can still be accessed through computer anyways. Buying a new phone seems pointless just for accessing fancy AI features.

  25. @GoMakeSomeSandwhich

QUESTION: How is the sound for Music and Videos comlared to Pixel 7a and 8a? That’s something nobody is taking about! I don’t know if it’s better, worse, same or what.

    • @JB-1184

      August 22, 2024 at 4:51 pm

Everybody knows camera comes 1st with pixel. Then they do cameras. After that.. camera. You might get 5 seconds of videos or speakers.

  29. @gerrysmith5597

    August 22, 2024 at 5:32 am

I’m upgrading from the Pixel 7 Pro to the 9 Pro XL, not for the AI (can’t see me having a conversation with my phone’s AI) but more for the tech and camera aspects. (UK)

  30. @vladimirkraus1438

    August 22, 2024 at 7:38 am

7:05 iPhone takes sharper photos because it uses incredible amount of artificial oversharpening. It adds sharpness to places where it is non-existent in reality. Some pictures of nature (grass, foliage) look very artificial on iPhone. I have not yet tested the new Pixel so I cannot compare, but I lived with iPhone 15 Pro for about 6+ months and eventually got rid of it especially because of artificially looking photos of nature.

  31. @nuyou21

    August 22, 2024 at 9:21 am

Google next month: Please, please buy the Pixel 9. We made it look like an iPhone. Don’t leave us for the iPhone 16 🤣😂

  32. @danielsolomon1710

    August 22, 2024 at 12:13 pm

With the same price I rather go for the Samsung

  33. @MaxxKoggen

    August 22, 2024 at 1:06 pm

A.I is not a reason to upgrade your phone, ever. Unless you buy a new phone every year, you’ll need to purchase a subscription after the first year.

  34. @suspectizm

    August 22, 2024 at 1:52 pm

I think it looks better than the iPhone because of the symmetric camera island on the Pixel 9

  35. @JB-1184

    August 22, 2024 at 4:54 pm

Is there a better device than s24 plus? Dont say oneplus 12 either please.
