The Google Pixel 8 is unlike any other phone you can buy today. After testing it for nearly a week, I realized that the Pixel 8 and its AI features offer an early glimpse at how photography, calling and even our phone’s wallpaper could evolve. I wouldn’t run out and buy a Pixel 8 today solely because of these features, but it certainly shows how AI will continue to be integrated into our daily lives.

I’m struggling mightily with my decision between a Google Pixel 8 or a Samsung S23. Any opinions from the gallery?

I like the video quality of the pixel.
    But the price! 😮

It’s pretty much silly that the Pixel 8 has features that are locked out the box and the Pixel 8 Pro has all the features available already. Like why does the Pixel 8 Pro have a pro mode but the Pixel 8 doesn’t, when both have the same chip and same main camera? It’s stupid.

Need to know if the signal is better on the 8 compared to the 6 and 7. They were definitely sub par for a lot of people! 👍

If you’re having issues with signal try use LTE not 5G + that might also help with battery

I miss the squared off corners. Rounded corners are generic.

What I was looking forward to the most? Face unlock. I can’t stand the fingerprint scanner on pixels.

It’s very tempting to switch from iPhone 12 to Pixel 8 pro… any suggestions?

Best take is a must-have feature and it is as important as the other wonderful and magical tools. The magic eraser and background noise remover is as magical as it can get. The Way Google makes powerful desktop software features that once only exist on PC’s now available on smartphones but in an exceedingly easy to use format. Google revolutionizes those magical tools in an easy to use format on their Pixel flagship phones. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾

I’m not a fan of the camera AI trickery. Seems like a gimmick. But I guess some people will be into it… or you can just not use it if you don’t like it. The audio filter is more impressive to me.

Face Unlock on the Pixel 8/8 Pro isn’t that secure as the front camera struggles to unlock at night or in the dark. Forget 7 years of updates as looking at the benchmarks, I’m shocked that even the 4-year-old iPhone 12 shamed the Pixel 8 Pro. 🤭🤣
