@Animesh Meshram in the EC you can still win with the 11 most populated states. What you want is a system where the states elect the president but the EC doesn’t do that. On top of that your victory can still be taken away from you at the last moment because of faithless electors, hasn’t happen before but the fact that it can happen is bad enough.

    • Animesh Meshram

      October 28, 2020 at 9:53 pm

@Luis Laguinge Yes indeed, I agree. But as you mentioned, this scenario is hypothetical at this point. For now, electoral college seems far more effective than popular voting system.

    • Luis Laguinge

      October 28, 2020 at 10:03 pm

@Animesh Meshram so you agree it’s not perfect, it has issues and can be better. Then why don’t you want to change it?

These arrogant tech oligarchs are so Sanctimonious and elite. They really believe that they are doing good to the people of USA by censorship. They need to be shut down, broken up or made into a UTILITY platform. They are private companies who now OWN THE PUBLIC SQUARE and their ability to twist or censor any free speech or information can not stand. Civil War if Jo & Ho win because of the big brother Big Tech!!

  27. James Owen

    October 29, 2020 at 1:58 am

Section 230 needs to be reformed. These companies should not be allowed to violate the right to free speech because they ‘feel’ material is inappropriate. It is the American people’s decision what they find good and bad, not a company
