Wow $40 for a piece of plastic for my 40$ charger and my $40 power brick

Does that stand work with the regular 14 Pro? As some stands don’t work with the 14 Pro’s bigger camera hump and only work with the 14 Pro Max

Holy cow…but I guess if you bought an iPhone you know it’s never included and it’s all expensive…

    A very expensive timer

For clarification, Standby works on any charger, even plugging in via lightning. It also doesn’t require a stand, just that the iPhone is horizontal. You could plug the iPhone in with lightning and leave it propped up sideways against something (like a lamp on a nightstand) and Standby will work.

I don’t know about this. It looks cool but even now OLED screens are still not immune to burn in. There’s no way this doesn’t shorten the life of the screen.

They can indeed be immune if software mechanisms are used. Furthermore, I doubt that a billion company like Apple hasn’t considered such an obvious issue.

$40 for a plastic stand that doesn’t have a charger on it because you have to buy it separately from apple. Being competitive or having common sense is not their “forte”

You can use any wireless charger for standby mode. I have an upright wireless charger that works just fine with standby.

This is misleading, standby mode works without a stand.

There are generic magnetic chargers out there. I currently use one and it was much cheaper than apples MagSafe charger. I also didn’t need an extension cord. The magnetic charger came with its own power brick as well.
