It didn’t do anything to the screen not even a scratch hardly. Well that answers the screen protector question , you don’t need one so I’m not getting one. And it still works so that’s good enough for me.

    August 25, 2020 at 12:45 am

Thanks! Could you guys please do a drop test WITH a case to see if that makes any difference?

  3. Michael Brooks

    August 25, 2020 at 12:47 am

The phone does have the plastic factory installed screen protector on it. Probably why the front looks like it scratched so easy. Mine has one, and you can see it in Jerry Rig Everything’s video

Save your time. The glass scratched and did pretty bad. The drop cracked the screen at just 3m. So the glass is pretty similar to the last one

In the purse test should have included dust instead of actual sandpaper

What makes it different when the gorilla Glass 3 on some of the cheaper phones have the same scratch resistant. How is it “pretty good” at such a massive price?

A lot of people seem to be concerned about my putting the plastic in the bushes. Let me assure you that I picked it up immediately after the shoot was over and placed it in the proper receptacle. Though it begs the question: is it really littering if it’s on your own property?

    • Abdullah Bou hamdan

      August 25, 2020 at 7:18 pm

@Fernando Zeno Miranda i would be surprised if you went all your life without littering, you guys should give the man a break you’re not angels iam 100% sure everyone of you had did this in some point in his life

The sound from 9:55 literally made me cry; my mom just came running into my room asking me why I’m crying , I showed her the video and right after that she said “Are these people stupid ?” my answer was “No mom they have money people with money do stuff like this for fun .” Her “Well must be nice to be them .” This literally reminds me of what happened to my R.I.P Note 3 which fell on it’s face and at the very moment the same sound from 9:55 erupted through out the room … nothing was ever the same chaps 🙏🏾 …nothing was the same .

This is why I always buy a very strong case and a screen protector. I refuse to spend a lot of money on my phone from a “competitor” and then throw caution to the wind so to speak. I’m glad to see that you guys reuse the phones for your videos. By the way, your videos are very professional looking.

Can you remove the back glass separately from the front? Because, what function does the back glass have? If you removed it and put a case on it, it would be that much slimmer and lighter. I just don’t get the glass back on phones.
