First 10 seconds and I already knew this would be a waste of time. I know it’s a silly “humorous” montage to break the ice at the beginning of the talk, but the sister’s supposed message wasn’t even from the sister but from the guy’s phone. It checks that someone with such little attention to detail is in favor of GenAI. Also disappointing on TED’s part, but I guess they already know that
Edit for the P.S.: if you want an “enhanced” reality, that’s a great way for a whole depressed, performative, talentless society who suffers from body dysmorphia and needs online validation to make it through the day. Might as well try doing drugs if you want to enhance your reality (without murdering your planet while you’re at it)

TED talks rarely amount to much in the first place, but this probably takes the cake for the most empty, desperate ‘Look at me!’ presentation I’ve seen. There is nothing “deeply human” about this, other than your starvation for attention, Grumi.
