    Biggest issue here is, so called upgrade path is stupidly expensive. Same as getting a new laptop.

    It’s kind of hard to care when RAM prices and SSD prices are so ridiculous that buying one right now would be foolish. Wake me up when the AI bubble pops and component prices are more reasonable. Maybe then I’ll care.

    one of those old technologies we used to use… like records & CD’s or floppy disks

    I get generational leaps in performance in terms of the cpu and that 13 and 16 get their own independent refresh cycles but for something like the chassis should be announced and released at the same time for both sizes.

    Yes!!! ⚙️❤️ I’ve been Framework 13 laptop user for the last 3 years and its been incredibly reliable 👌
    Upgraded the display and Mainboard, sold old ones to offset the costs ❤
    No other company can compete 😭❤️⚙️
