AI pioneer and World Labs CEO Fei-Fei Li discusses Atlas, the company’s latest world model designed to understand and generate 3D environments for applications spanning robotics, design and science. Ed, look at the leaders of all the countries in the world as an example; and look at oligarchs and billionaires; and look at global organized crime; and look at local and global corruption. All that is what Humans are doing to one another. Tech in the hands of the worst of the worst Humans is our challenge. Putin is pushing to annihilate Europe and the US using whatever tech he can lay his hands to. His accomplices in China, North Korea, Iran and other countries are the same. It is not machines saying “bomb Ukraine”, “steal gold in Africa”, Human Trafficking and the likes of the Epstein files. That is Humans. We are the problem; and how we use tech is on us. There is no polite way to say this and there is no clever wording dodge that skirts it.
