this feels like a nice change because it feels natural.

Or is it ? He could be lying because FBI don’t appreciate all their suspects knowing this.

I can only tell when 2 people are lying & they both have the same tells. My brother & my son. There’s this look on their faces & in their eyes. I can’t describe it. But imagine my surprise when I say my brother’s lying face on my son one day. 😂 Genetics is a powerful thing.

The comment I was looking for. That show was so awesome. I wished it were real, but unfortunately its just to good to be so. Kind of like the mentalist.

This is the only guy that actually knows what he is talking about. His bona fides are real, not contrived like some other body language readers who I won’t name.

Also, people with ADHD tend to repeatedly touch (or pick at) something that isn’t smooth or even. So a whisker or skin bump poking out on their face can draw their hand there immediately. It doesn’t necessarily mean guilt.

Fun fact, they’re called Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) actually and they are currently grouped under the OCD category, and are a known comorbidity with ADHD, yeah.

So basically, you’re saying you’re useless ?
@GamingWithUncleJ
October 28, 2026 at 7:32 pm
No, hes saying you cant just read body language and know something about people. Body language is very subjective to the individual in question. Even nervous tics arent a guaranteed tell as people may have quirks that make them act in a certain way that appears suspicious but actually isnt.

@GamingWithUncleJ
So yeah, they don’t have any mean to know if someone is lying just by looking at him

Lie to Me was a fun show, but micro-expressions are mostly bs.

The best interrogators, like Joe, will tell you the same. I suggest we listen to them because they’re the ones working at the coal face. And by the way Joe, you’re dressed very sharp man. Adding a pair of shades will give you an even more authentic look. 🕶️ 🙂

And this is why autistic folks have such a rough time, in part, because our natural body language doesn’t match what allistics expect. And with people like the police, especially, they just assume that it’s because we’re shifty or lying or guilty of something or whatnot. But god forbid they do what Joe says and, you know, treat everyone as an individual instead of plastering their own assumptions on us.

In my experience, people that speak in absolutes tend to fall under good ole dunning-kruger

I highly recommend the show “Would I Lie to You?” (comedy panel show) to be convinced that you can’t always tell when someone is lying.
