Would following ITIL have prevented the CrowdStrike related outage? I say yes and when I ask people I trust they say: ” By implementing ITIL’s best practices for change management, service validation and testing, incident management, and problem management, CrowdStrike could have potentially avoided the defective update and mitigated its impact more effectively.”
