That’s why Elon is offering $1M because he knows he will not have to pay it because it’s not legal – so it’s an empty promise by which he is trying to galvanize the votes for Trump

I just want to hear a Trump supporter say “I’d be fine with George Soros giving out $1,000,000 checks at random to anyone that signs a petition that says Kamala Harris is smart and Trump is a felon.” Last I checked they consider him donating to universities as a covert plan to make Eastern Europeans gay or funding voting rights projects led to Trump’s many felony convictions.

We knew this would happen when Musk bought Twitter, just didn’t think it would happen this quickly and unashamedly. They don’t care if it’s illegal, it won’t matter if they win the election and if they lose they’ll simply pay a meaningless fine. This is election interference in its ugliest form, Billionaires buying politicians to pay less tax, get shielded from the law, pump up crypto prices and win government contracts.

It’s to sign a petition. She’s misleading you! This isn’t bribing people to vote. Ever done any research?

Ed corrects them by emphasizing that Kamala posts, from two accounts. Obama posts. Mark Cuban posts. By the way Mark recently noted that he does not think that Elon’s move is illegal and so you guys should calm down. We see posts from the right and left on X and if you engage you see more posts because the algorithm follows your interests. Unlike in the previous Twitter where they rigged the system to favor left-leaning and progressives views, while limiting (or banning) right-wing/conservative voices.

Elon says he wants all voices to be heard and not only from one side. This balance seems to make left-leaning journalists and politicians very uncomfortable and they start pushing for censorship. Quite unfortunate. Well done Ed for the balanced take and keep it up

Here’s the obscenity of his wealth.
10 million is 1% of a billion. Musk has hundreds of billions. His millions are worth less to him than the wages of a minimum wage Mcdonalds worker serving fries for 9 hours straight are to them. They can’t afford to give anything away. But musk will attempt to buy the electorate.
    Thats obscene.

Elon Musk expresses his eagerness to collaborate with Trump in the White House, even though Elon backs someone widely regarded as a habitual liar, criminal, felon, insurrectionist, and rapist. This raises concerns, as it also reflects poorly on Musk, suggesting he may share similar qualities. It is important to recognize that criminals tend to support one another. Musk, your reputation is at risk, stick to building cars, not politics! Trump is the greatest danger to America!

Based on the information available up to October 19, 2024, Elon Musk’s super PAC, known as America PAC, has announced a giveaway of $1 million every day until election day to individuals in swing states who sign a petition supporting free speech and the right to bear arms. However, the legality of this action isn’t directly addressed in the provided excerpts or X posts but let’s analyze the situation based on general campaign finance laws:

    1. **Campaign Finance Laws**: In the U.S., campaign finance laws are quite strict about contributions and expenditures to influence elections. However, payments for activities like petition-signing could potentially be seen as a gray area. The law prohibits paying individuals to vote or register to vote, but if the payment is framed as compensation for signing a petition (which indirectly supports a candidate), it might navigate around direct violations of those laws.

    2. **Foreign Interference**: Elon Musk has mentioned on X (formerly Twitter) about illegal foreign interference in U.S. elections. While this doesn’t directly relate to the legality of the giveaway, it suggests a context where financial contributions and their influences on elections are under scrutiny. However, since Musk himself is not a foreign entity in this context, this specific concern might not apply to his PAC’s activities.

    3. **Public Perception and Legal Scrutiny**: Even if technically legal, such large-scale financial incentives could attract legal scrutiny or at least public and regulatory attention to determine if they’re intended to influence voter behavior in a way that could be construed as buying votes or if they’re genuinely for advocacy unrelated to voting behavior directly.

    4. **X Posts and Public Statements**: Musk’s X posts suggest an intent to mobilize support for certain constitutional rights, which might be framed as issue advocacy rather than explicit campaign support, potentially placing it in a different legal category. However, the close alignment with election timing and targeting swing states does raise questions about intent.

    5. **Precedents and Legal Interpretations**: There’s no explicit mention in the provided data of a court case or legal ruling directly declaring such an action illegal. However, campaign finance law often interprets actions based on intent and effect. If the intent is to sway voters with financial incentives, even if wrapped in the guise of supporting a petition, it might tread into a legally contentious area.

Given these points, while there’s no definitive statement or legal ruling provided here that declares Elon Musk’s super PAC’s $1 million daily giveaway as explicitly illegal, the approach skates close to several legal and ethical lines in campaign finance regulations. The legality could depend on how these actions are structured, reported, and justified under current election laws, and it might require judicial review or FEC clarification to determine its lawfulness definitively. Always, such innovative campaign strategies might be legal until challenged and ruled upon by relevant authorities or courts.

Elon Musk should be deported back to South Africa as he is committing crime of National Secuirty!! US is the land of law and land of immigrants. Elon Musk is bribing people and Super Pac to change the election outcome! Elon Musk’s US Citizenship should be stripped away!!! USCIS and DHS should look into the immigration records of this National Security threat who, admitted that he travelled to Russia to buy refurbished ICBM to develop a rocket for SpaceX!! Conspiring against US Government’s interest and US’s interest and seeking cooperation from anti-US countries and dictator communist regimes such as USSR or Russian Federation is MORE THAN enough to take away Elon Musk’s US Citizenship and Canadian Citizenship and let him rot in South Africa!!!!

Can we force Elon to sell his ownership in his companies if he takes any job in our government? Our government makes certain he complies with regulations! Thus, there would be a “Conflict of Interest”. Every other employee would be forced to sell their interest, or the companies would no longer be allowed to do any business with the government.
