“But where are these other dimensions?… perhaps there is a gateway connecting them that we cannot see or touch”

Time is a great example. We may not be able to see it. But there are a multitude of “gateways” to help us perceive it; either technologically (i.e. clocks, calendars) or even naturally using the day/night cycle or even the phases of the moon!

That parallel universe must have everything opposite in our universe, Otherwise we must also see White holes.

I’m extremely curious: if humans went to a planet with 3x earth gravity (ignore the medical issues that would cause for a second) would those humans age noticeably slower than humans on earth? And would humans on Mars age faster? How does the gravitational slowing of time affect natural aging processes?

    • Saintdoot

      July 31, 2021 at 9:42 pm

It would be an extremely small difference. Pretty much none. Slowing of time would naturally make aging slower too. In your frame of reference everything would seem normal of course, but others relative to you could age slower or faster if the time dilation is really extreme.

    August 1, 2021 at 9:56 pm

So….if vibrating strings, as demonstrated in some kind of standing wave configuration, are the foundation, would that make Euler’s formula and the related Fourier Transform that much more powerful or do the strings not convolve? If they do become even better tools for comprehension, would we then have to use the continuous form of the Fourier Transform or is there thought these strings themselves could be composed of discrete particles and, if so, would we be able to use the discrete Transform to find the constitutional strings? Ok, I send this comment to the ether that is the YouTube comment section. Fly comment, fly away! Shall our paths cross again, I hope it’s because XxL33t420xX has answered in depth and not insulted my mother.

Physics is crazy. Like you could spend an entire lifetime trying to dumb some of these concepts down and I still don’t think I’d be able to really wrap my head around some of it.

But man is it ever cool. I saw a video talking about space-time in the universe like a big sheet spread out and the stuff in the universe – planets, stars, solar systems, etc – as being like balls with different densities curving space-time around them like a ball sagging part of a spread out sheet. What a ridiculous and cool universe we live in!

    • ShaiDot

      August 2, 2021 at 12:16 am

With regards to string theory, dark matter and the inside of black holes that’s currently true. But everything else has already been scientifically proven. We have the equipment these days, including particle accelerators and extremely sensitive telescopes, to test and prove a lot of these theories. Recently, they even took a picture of a black hole.

A quick question but stars surrounding the earth also explode but why doesn’t it create a back hole? Does it also compress but the it’s gravitational pull is so small that it doesnt cause any major effects or cannot be noticed? Or does it just fall off (I know it doesn’t fall but gets attracted in the direction of the gravitational force) like a shooting star?

Unless I’m mistaken, energy which would put you over the light barrier is made into mass.

  161. Damian Atlasik

    August 4, 2021 at 5:29 pm

What if time does not change, only our method of measurement gets affected? What if a black hole was the bridge to a different space or dimension? It wouldnt have any mass. If you let water flow into a drain you could also claim that if gets sucked into an infinitely small point. An entrance into a 4 dimensional tunnel will cast a 3 dimensional sphere shadow. And in that case what if gravity isnt a pulling force only a pushing force towards mass or a hole in space like water flows into the drain, not being attracted by the drain itself?

  162. Pete Phelp

    August 4, 2021 at 5:32 pm

10:31 Genunienly can someone please clarify this for me
Theoretically no one could see you in the black hole because you past the 4th dimension which we normally cant see through so can you?

  163. Kevinzhw Zhang wang

    August 4, 2021 at 6:01 pm

Well, if the bus is spinning against the rotation of the earth, the fly will fly backwards so it would slow down, speed is all about where you start to count it, you could count the earths rotation around the sun, the suns rotation around the milky way, the milky way according to space, is there a way to determine how fast something is relative to the real space? is there something that will always be stationary relative to space?

My theory on dark matter is that it is darkness its self with out dark matter we will not see eany thing everything would be bright light and vision is not possible but with dark matter it ads darkness so we we can see and quiet possibly makes space well space its dark emptyness its dark matter floating around with out light I could be way off but that’s just my theory

Strings (musical instrument strings) do not vibrate in an infinite number of ways, they always vibrate in one predictable way, which is why we can play music on them. If they changed the way they vibrate every time they were plucked the result would be chaos.
However, strings can have a possibly infinite properties by varying materials, composition, thickness, length etc.

when.you scuff your feet on a carpet, you gain electrons and become negatively charged. If you then place your finger near a metallic surface, such as doorknob, an electric field develops between your finger and the doorknob. As your finger gets closer to the surface, the magnitude of the electric field increases. when it exceeds a threshopd of 3MV/m, the air breaks down, creating a small lightning strike, which you feel as a shock.Estimate the distance between your finger and a doorknob at the point you feel the shock.
