The population boom in the early 20th century can be attributed to the invention of fertilizer by the German scientist Haber. Fertilizers increased food production by 400%

Extremely educational. While I studied demography in school, this video ties every statistic to current events and policy.

The reason why poorer communities live less is the same reason why a certain CEO got nailed a few days ago.

You also have to acknowledge that it wasn’t just women have abortions, it was families killing their female babies at birth once they realized they weren’t a boy.

Don’t you just hate how conservashits are allergic to facts? They keep saying California loses population where population data is public and they easily can see that the only year that California population declined was 2020 when the entire country population declined because of COVID 🤷‍♂️

Why would it always be good to have a replacement population? In my opinion it seems like there’s an overpopulation and many of the countries such as the United States could afford to have less population.
And if a country had less population than they used to then there would be more money to build, less houses and keep more parks and land as farms

It seems like declining population is a good thing

Is it so bad for women to have less children? . not every woman wants children and most countries especially countries with a better economy costs very much to raise even one child.
Raising children take very much time out of a woman’s life plus even in these modern times that makes a childbearing not as difficult as past times, it’s still difficult since a woman has to take nine months out of her life for pregnancy plus at least six years or more to raise a child to school age.

I mean, I think musk is concerned about population, but only a certain specific subset of the population in a very problematic way…

  18. @careless_daughter

    December 11, 2024 at 4:47 pm

musk may care about declining birthrates for the reasons you mention but we shouldnt leave out that at least some of his focus is specifically on declining white birthrates. i dont think he’s admitted it outright but he’s made it clear that he is a believer of the great replacement theory. so some of it is just racism.

I love these videos, but I need an additional explanation… I don’t think she answered some questions clearly enough, for those of us that need the “for dummies” explanation. Someone asked “is the world overpopulated, & what are we gonna do when we hit 50B”. She only answered the 2nd part of the question… That we’ll never reach 50B; more like 8 or 9B…. So are we currently overpopulated or not?? Because that’s what most of the US believes!!

Technically Americans of Dinka descent (South Sudan) are the fastest growing minority, since the Dinka are the tallest humans, at an average of 183cm height. They grow faster than anybody. 🤡
