“This is a time for deescalation. I believe America is strongest when we live up to our highest ideals, when we treat everyone with dignity and respect no matter who they are or where they’re from, and when we embrace our shared humanity.” TELL THAT TO FELON.

So…Apple is very good at tracking people and their things + is best buddies with a president that has no regard for people’s rights or the law…

Add these two facts together and it sounds like all Apple users are being tracked “so they can find their devices” and the government is buying (or being given) the data to surveil everyone illegally using Apple’s products.

Not a good deal for Apple customers. This might need to be my last iPhone.

Why did he have to comment on anything is my first question. Why do people think they need answers or comments from anyone? And why are people butting in other people’s lives when they do something outside of their work? People are stupid. No one needs to answer to anyone. And people need to mind their own business

Hey Bridget, why was the nurse shot and killed? Did ICE say, Hey, there’s a nurse, let’s shoot her? The ICE agent would have tire tread marks over his dead body had he not shot her. I’ve liked your tech reports, but if you’re going to get wacky with your political views, then Hadios.

I had misgivings about continuing to buy apple products after his earlier dealings with this administration, and now I’m regretting not moving away from apple. I wish the fair phone 6 was here in the states, was on the fence about trying them out, but support here seems limited or nonexistent.

I want to be able to use the full set of templates in Pages, Numbers and such but I have to pay for the full Creative Studio with Final Cut Pro & Logic Pro which I know I will never use. I think Apple should make Pages Templates free.

Samsung SmartTag2 support up to 394 feet, epic fail for Apple

    • @PaulDetzel-m3l

      January 31, 2026 at 4:55 pm

Epic fail? I would rather see real world numbers rather than marketing bs.

    • @techscience1480

      January 31, 2026 at 5:20 pm

@PaulDetzel-m3lI tested samsung smarttag2 (it was relased few years ago) recently with galaxy edge from 2019 it works. I also tested old airtag and it was very poor like in this video. I am sure you can find comparation videos from past. Also on samsung you have full 7 days history and battery can last even 500 days in safe battery mode.
I was hoping airtag will get distance as samsung after all of these years of waiting
