Earlier this year, I became interested in physics. I read many books on the subject, and then I discovered Brian Greene and started watching interviews with some of the world’s greatest physicists.
I’ve learned so much thanks to the incredible value and knowledge you’ve shared with the public.

You can think about Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle much like the special order menu that you find in certain Chinese restaurants where you have dishes in column A and other dishes in column B, and if you order the first dish in column A you can’t order the corresponding dish in column B; that’s sort of like the Uncertainty Principle.

10:40 it’s important to note with the double slit experiment, it may be an electron before it’s fired and when it lands, but it travels as a wave, and in fact an electron *is* a wave so the electron waiting to be fired is a localised wave and when it’s fired through the slits it is a spread out wave, so with a spread out wave fired at two slits you should expect an interference pattern. With all the variations on the experiment, like the 2000 atom sized molecule where the interference pattern is also seen, that molecule is also a “matter-wave” in transit. Y’all are all being lied to about what this experiment is meant to show and some pop physicists seem happy to let you believe the lie.

It’s amazing to me that people like Isaac Newton, who lived hundreds of years ago, could make calculations and predictions about things that we still know our true today and they didn’t have any kind of computers. I think computers are actually making people dumber.

My theory combines aspects of particle theory and string theory. I believe an electron produces ripples that radiate outward through spacetime, similar to waves spreading across a pond. The frequency of these spacetime ripples may determine the amount of mass the particle can possess. One way I think this idea might be demonstrated is through the double-slit experiment. When a single electron is fired toward two slits, the ripples surrounding the electron could pass through both openings and interfere with one another on the opposite side. The electron itself would then follow the resulting spacetime geometry created by that interference.

physicists’ interpretations of schrodinger’s cat are so much more varied than how he presents it here as an undisputed fact. like literally just look at the wikipedia page. that felt so poorly answered
